lol I would be all over trading for MJD, but when we decided to extend Lee & sign Waters, any kind of big trade or free agent signing became impossible with the cap space. A lot of us posters need to learn more about the team we follow, instead of going into all Madden mode, then we would have already known these things.

MJD has a 5m base. We can't even pay 1/3 of that.

If we were sitting here undefeated and looking for a Murray replacement then he'd make sense PROVIDED WE HAD THE CAP SPACE.

A large part of the reason he is available is the Jags Owner does not want to pay him.

A trade could be made with him agreeing to sign a new, extended, contract.

lol padna, think realistic.. The Cowboys still have to worry about taking care of Dez & Tyron, & being able to franchise Carter if they are unable to work out a deal. Those 3 guys are the most important

im good w/ riding it out with Joe Randle and Tanner for now. We're getting our $$$ right with the contract of Miles coming to an end, along with Ratliff AND Spencer. This is the final year of our $5 mil penalty to the NFL as well. i think we're moving in the right direction financially.

Murrary has played in 29 out of a possible 38 games since he came into the league. MJD has played in 28 games over that same time period.

Yeah. And? I didn't advocate anywhere in that comment getting MJD. I simply commented on the fact that our backs are not fine and one of the biggest reasons is exactly the fact that our lead back can't stay healthy.
