I've seen that floating around in a variety of places, but it is NOT actual news about his condition. It was a doctor on Twitter talking about the variety of things that COULD happen upon taking such a hit.

One shot from Wilcox or Heath to the torso and he could be seriously hurt. Depends on how bad he and McCarthy want to win. He won't be 100%, and when he wasn't (100%, like the first 8 or so games) ARod wasn't the same. This is a huge break (pun!) for us. Whether he plays or not, imo.

As an aside, that tweet we all got excited about, I have learned, was speculation from a doctor stating "worse case scenarios."
