Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been cited for a drug charge in Wichita.

Wichita Police say marijuana was found in the hotel room where Randle, who played for Wichita Southeast, was staying.

According to police, Randle and a 22-year-old woman were in a room at the Waterwalk Hotel in the 700 block of S. Main.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at the hotel, when they arrived, they found marijuana in the room.

Randle, 23, was given a citation and a court date on one count of marijuana possession.

According to police, the report stated there was a weapon but Randle's friend took it with him.

There were no arrests made on the disturbance call.

IRVING, Texas – Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge in Wichita, Kan., on Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports.
Those reports indicate that Randle, a Wichita native, was arrested when police were called to a hotel early Tuesday morning on a domestic violence call. Randle was arguing with a 22-year-old woman in a hotel room, where police discovered marijuana and arrested the 23-year-old on a misdemeanor drug charge.
The woman told police she and Randle have a child together, and she was at the hotel so Randle could see the child.

I am not even looking at what the charges are. This guy is coming off one incident and to think he cannot keep himself out of an environment where something bad can happen is troubling. His judgement is very poor.

Out of what environment? He was in his own hotel room in Kansas and the woman is the mother of his child. We aren't talking about him in Vegas with a hooker or anything.

And let's talk about the fact that this woman apparently called the police claiming Randle waved a gun in her face. 99 out of a 100 times the man is arrested for domestic charges and questions are asked later. The man in the situation rarely gets the benefit of the doubt. The fact that there are 0 gun or domestic charges filed tells me all I know about the credibility of this woman

Football players and unidentified women in random hotel rooms spells trouble. WTH Randle? Could you be more stupid?

Edit: Did not know that was his wife. Hope this amounts to nothing.

Damn. The good news, I suppose, is that they didn't catch him having a beer (gasp!) -- or, even worse, jay walking.

It's beyond ridiculous that the NFL has a rule that makes this newsworthy. Yeah, maybe Randle is stupid for falling offside the rule. But how stupid are the clowns who put the rule in place to begin with? Arguably, you'd have to take Randle ahead of them in any contest of intelligence.

NFL does not care where you are, it really is simple the league says do not do this and if you choose to you can face suspension. You have your entire life after football to get stoned why risk it over something as stupid as weed?

I could not agree more.

Wait, are you seriously implying that Randle's worth and talent level is even in the same universe as Bryant?

This is a backup player who flashed as couple of plays just last season. That's it.

Guess you just don't get it....no, not implying that at all. How in the hell do you come up with that.....
I was saying people called for Dez's release with his off the field incidences.....and he stepped up and shown everyone they were wrong.
Now Randle with some stupid choices, though no where close to the same universe as what Dez means to the team. But he has shown he has value to the team. So why cut him at this point. Wait to see what happens from the incident.

Baby Mama: Joe, I'm bringing your kid over to your hotel room.
Randle: How long do you two plan on staying?
Baby Mama: All night baby.
Randle: Well, come on over then, heh heh!

(An angel flies by and lands on Randle's left shoulder, while a little devil pops out of nowhere on Randle's other shoulder)

Angel: Loomy, do you think it is a good idea for her to stay the night? Something might happen.
Devil: Dang straight something's going to happen. Joe's gonna get him some
Angel: Shut up Lil Nicky! Loomy, you can get with your kid and baby mama but you were planning on getting high tonight right? Might not be a good combo.
Devil: I'll tell you a good combo! Joe and some reefer! Let's get lit Joe!
Angel: Go to Hades Nicky! One last time, Loomy. Think.
Devil: Yeah Joe! Use that other brain! Let's get it on!
Angel: I give up *POOF!*
Devil: Let's get it started in here! You know what? These walls are paper thin... Whateva. Par-Tay!

So a few questions need answering before ANY of us form judgement
1-Whos room was it-hers or his? This would alter the theory on whos pot it is
2-If it is his room why would she need to take the child there?Wouldt he visit her?
3-And most importantly-who the hell taes a chld out to visit its other parent at 3am?Or were they there together all day?
4-f its a domestic violence charged as stated as the reason for the call then why was he only ticketed

Remember-innocent until proven guilty so reserve your judgement until all the evidence is made available

So, just to clarify. The woman went to Randle's hotel where he was staying at 3AM. They had an argument, and because of that she thought she should call the police. The police did not see this to be a domestic violence issue when they responded. The police however did find a joint in the room.

And I am supposed to be outraged here?

Must be the same women that did in Sapp.

To me this is much ado about nothing. Though I would not trust him to be the starting rb regardless of the incident.

Sooooooooo.........

Mama rented a hotel room so Daddy could see kid.

In the mean time.....Let's do a little dope. Kid won't mind.

State oughta step in and take the kid...for the kids sake because obviously neither parent gets it

This is a person who has been arrested once for stealing and now has other drama, which to me is a pattern of behavior. It is not even remotely similar to Bryant in the scope of the behavior nor his talent level.

I do not see any reason to continue with a player this unreliable. He can go be stupid on someone else's roster. It is just a matter of time before some other drama erupts.

We are trying to build a winning team with smart character players. Start allowing this kind of player on the second tier of the roster this many opportunities is contrary to that mindset.

Pick and choose the battles. Talent is worth the hassle. Sporadic producers with a propensity for idiocy are not.

I suppose I had the substance abuse policy in mind. But you're right: it's not even clear that it applies in this case. Of course, without that policy, the fact that Joseph was essentially given a ticket wouldn't be newsworthy, so it may not matter whether the policy actually applies.

Murray deserves to get paid. He's an offensive player of the year, a hard worker, a great character guy, offensive player of the year and one of the main reasons the team exceeded expectations in 2014.

Randle is an idiot never was who will probably be cut.

Murray is here...

Randle is here...and I'm being generous.

Offensive player of the year twice in the same year? is that possible? If so. CHAMPIONSHIP haha just kidding
