There was NO domestic charge so theres no reason to worry about that. Ill be surprised if he gets cut, but it wont hurt my feelings if he does. I dont think anyone should DEPEND (start) a guy thats developing a trend for bad decisions.

I have no issue with a lil weed, but it takes some brilliance to know the police have been called (or even if you didnt know) to not flush a gram of weed (a joints worth) before police arrive or before you open the door to talk to them or kick everyone out and leave the hotel if someone or people were getting loud. DUMB***

A lot of outrage over a joint. Good lord, grow up people.

His biggest mistake was the idiots he let into his room.

I guarantee i can count on one hand the amount of guys who actually care if he smokes weed. He shows up to practice so who cares?

I've known parents who've indulged and been amazing parents to their children, and I know "christian households" that had no business having kids.

I'll reserve judgment until theres actually a character issue. A joint does not qualify.

His character issue came into play when he got caught shoplifting a few months ago before this joint ever came into play.

Randle isn't going anywhere. Rookie contract. Solid special teams player and able to fill in for Murray Successfully. No reason to cut him. Might not offer him a second contract, but no reason to cut him until his rookie contract is over. I even question if the weed was his. As far as we know he has never failed a drug test. It could have been "dropped" by the ex to set him up. Obviously she had no issues lying about it, so the weed plant isn't' to far fetched.

How you react to this news really depends on your opinion of marijuana usage. Judging by what I am reading in this thread, we have a lot of potheads at CZ.

In all my adult life, I've never drank or smoked, did drugs or use pot. But I don't see the big deal with pot smoking. No worse than eating too much sweets or fried foods. Both may kill you.

Not really, how we all may feel about weed does not change the simple fact the NFL has rules against it. I really do not care of opinions on if weed should be legal or not because the fact remains players who are caught doing it or failing drug test can get suspended those are the facts. One day if the NFL says it is fine no penalty will take place then great but as of now that is not the rule and having any player who could miss time because he was too stupid to understand the rules is a player this team can't depend on.

Overreaction that people want him off the team.

You don't see failing a test and being suspended as a potential problem? Randle, is that you?

It's my opinion the NFL has already started a relaxed stance on weed usage. I thought that was clear when they didn't follow through with their year suspension of Josh Gordon after his multiply infractions of the rule. I'm not commenting on how the NFL will come down on Randle, I'm just commenting on the reactions I'm reading on CZ.

The problem is the accumulation of stupidity that he is showing. I agree it's not a big deal just being marijuana, but it is illegal and players get in trouble for it. So it's a dumb thing to risk your career over, IMO.

He's just an idiot and am fine if they cut him.

Well he at least got over his obsession with underoos. Cut Murray and keep this clown.

I'm just saying I don't think views on weed is at issue. I have no problem at all if they legalize it and the league gives the go ahead on players using it but as of now they have not.
