I read it. And my #1 question is why is she taking that baby out with no car seat in the wee hours of the morning to an adult party where there was drugs in the first place?
You're making a big deal out of one misdemeanor charge and brushing a
You're setting up a criteria to fit your agenda. Fact of the matter is that Randle has been charged with one misdemenor and people wsnt to cut him. Tell me how that affects the team.
You're normally a good poster, but I think you're going off the rails on this one.
Everything is speculation at this point.
All we know for certain is that this woman was at his Hotel room and then she called police.
You get a grip. I never said that you did. You do speak of her allegations as if they were fact and you have for days now. You don't qualify that it's coming from her. You can say that i sound like an attorney but you writing like that is a rhetorical device that lawyers do use. Notice how his attorney spoke in certain declarations?
Introspection is important.
He kept insisting that I wasn't being objective and he responded to every post I made making exscuses for Randle. I showed him at least 6 posts where I coached my responses with "allegedly" or "she said" or "it may not be true".
If you can't see from post #47 that I was trying to be impartial then I don't what more to say to you about it. Fuzzy called me out and I showed him were he was wrong. The mods asked us to cool it so I did.
Posters like Fuzzy and Mrtxstar are given a ton of leeway when it comes to insulting other members. When someone stands up to them it seems that they are one the told to knock it off. If it means I get banned I don't care, but I'm not going to let someone question my integrity or my intelligence and not respond, whether on line or in person.

You seemed confused as to the timing of her going to the hotel and the restraining order. She didn't file the order until AFTER the fight at the hotel.
She said there was a gun and one of his friends left with it before the police got there. That's all I know. The window being busted out seems easy enough to confirm.

He asked about why she would file a restraining order and then go to his hotel. That is not how it happened.
She went to his hotel. An argument ensued. She called the police. THEN she filed the abuse order.
I'm not making any assumptions. I'm just relaying things she said. You have made up your mind to disregard everything she has said. That's fine, it's your prerogative. Just don't tell me what I read isn't real. I'm not making anything up.

I don't know what I'm missing here. You were implying that she went to his room so she shouldn't be able to get a restraining order.
But the argument happened at the hotel room. Then he waved a gun and broke a window, allegedly.
She didn't know BEFORE going to the room he would get that crazy. She filed the abuse order AFTER he did all these things because she was now afraid of him.

She says she was threatened with the gun after her friends were asked to leave his room. He supposedly waved the gun around and threatened to shoot up the car and allegedly broke out the window in her car with their baby inside as she was leaving.

I'm not confused at all. I only repeated what has been reported on the news. It was very clearly stated by the woman that Randle had a gun and broke the car window. She even said glass got in the babies hair. It may not be true, but that is exactly what she claimed happened.

He supposedly followed her out to the parking lot after she sent her friend and child out to the car. If he waved a gun, smashed the window and threatened her that would be more than enough to grant a temporary order. There is supposedly a full hearing set for Feb 19th to see if it still has merit or should be revoked.
I don't know why people are having such a hard time even entertaining the idea that Randle may have done these things after the extraordinary lack of character and intelligence he showed in the shoplifting case.
but it would surprise me more if he was completely innocent.
I thinking they was staying the night at the hotel.
Actually two but one was drop and now he have this domestic abuse case being investigated. For starters there is no telling how the league will handle this and two he is bringing real shame upon the star. A little knuckle head is all this guy is. Hey then I forgot about the incident when he got into with Dez Bryant. Yeah go on ahead go on and worship this scrum bag. Im willing to bet he will be in more trouble this guy is a true knuckle head.
I don't think his point was to exonerate Randle as much as to point out how there is no consitency from the puritans. I agree with him. The naysayers read to me like reactionary, emotional drivel.
Your characterization of my emotions is baseless and I have no idea why you would even attempt to claim knowledge of the function of my brain. I respect your opinion of RJ's innocents. We do not agree. When we do get a legal ruling, then we can sort out who was right or wrong... not before.
Randle's wedging a divide in cowboyszone. There is way too much tension. Cowboys fans should relax, take a trip fifty years into the future in DallasEast's time machine, and listen in on a conversation between Randle and his granddaughter...
Granddaughter: Pappie Joe, tell me a story from your time with the Dallas Cowboys!
Randle: Sure thing, Mary Jane. Let me see. Did I ever tell you about the time I got in trouble snatching some drawers?
Granddaughter: Yeah Pappie! You always tell that one!
Randle: Okay, MJ. Settle down. Say, did I ever tell you why your folks named you Mary Jane?
Granddaughter: No, why did they...
Randle: Oh, wait! I know. How about the time your Grandma called the cops on me?
Granddaughter: No Pappie! Grandma always tells that one!
Randle: She plays the 911 calls for you, doesn't she?
Granddaughter: Yep!
Randle: Dang it.
( @justbob's gonna kick my butt right outta this thread )
Randle was staying at that hotel. "they" were not.
And that still doesn't explain why she had a 1 year old out at 3 a.m. without a car seat.
Spare me the "bringing shame upon the star" BS. There is a long list of players who have played for the Cowboys and have done waaaaay worse. Including several on this team now. Don't forget, there is a player the Cowboys are about to pay big money who also had several run ins with authorities. And if you are going to justify him being on the team because he's a better player, then you have no standing to insert morality in this discussion.
Well I'm not sure who you are calling "puritans". RJ deserves due process like anyone else. That said, I'm not his judge or executioner but we are all entitled to our opinions on the matter. When the facts sort themselves out and a legal judgment has been rendered then we can get to the "who was right or wrong". The attacks on each other for differing viewpoints is just childish. I know by now that you and I will rarely ever agree on issues but I like you for that. You have an opinion and stand by it.
Ummm name some that have current issues under Garret regime? We are not talking past issues before they came to Dallas but current. Two arrest man that is not a good look with this latest news. If you like to cowboys beha e like thugs then that is fine. Its cool in your book as long as they are not convicted its fine. Despite the fact he have several run in with the law.
Dez Bryant and Josh Brent are the big ones.
Ok Brent had a Dui accident killed his friend and did jail time and that was it. No other issues while he playing for us. Nor prior issues while he was playing for us. As a matter of fact he played through his his first contract with 0 issues. Dez had a pity run in with the security !!! One incident where he was arrested dealing with his mom and it was deem more personal than anything. The only issues he had off the field seem to be of the civil matter not criminal . Anyone else ???
