The Bills strength of schedule for 2021 was .478

The Cowboys strength of schedule for 2021 was .452 (2nd easiest behind only the Eagles)

So I guess you should be looking at Dak more since he had an easier schedule?
They faced similar competition is my point. I don’t get why people are doing this lol. Allen is great and Dak is great and Allen right now is the better player…y’all are choosing some weird stuff to argue about.

Who's "you guys?" Plus, you saw growth in Romo; you could argue his 2014 season was his best. Dak has done nothing but be mediocre his entire career and beat up on bad teams.
Romo was over 30 by 2014….and all Romo did was lose in December and beat up on bad teams…not sure what your point is.

Romo's career trajectory from being undrafted meant that he lost years off his career just learning the position and yes like Dak he did nothing but beat up on bad teams and lose in December.

I do not believe that the Bills have better weapons than what Dak has had in the past but Allen has elevated the talent with his play. While in Dallas, I do believe we overrate our talent, I believe Amari Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, Zeke are much better weapons than what Allen is working with.

It's simple: If you want to get paid the big boy bucks, you have to play like a big boy.
Wait, dak is pushing 30 and we want him to grow into a player that is 3 years his junior?

Josh Allen is twice as physically talented as Prescott, and his understanding of the game is catching up.

Dak is pretty damn smart, but he doesn't really have any above-average athletic traits except for rushing power. He was a plus athlete, but lost that edge to injury.

Dak actually reminds me a lot of a mid-career Donovan McNabb, if McNabb never lost his self confidence and didn't let Philly grind him down.

OTOH, Josh Allen is like the best possible version of Cam Newton, like if Cam grinded on his flaws and wasn't content with throwing 58% completions every season.

Really like the JA/ Cam Newton comparison, but honestly, Cam’s arm talent was nowhere close. As you insinuated, Cam could have become a more effective passer, but did not seem to ever work that out. But from a rushing standpoint, JA and Cam are equals and I don’t think people have widely accepted it in that context just yet.

JA is really rare and if he keeps improving, I can’t think of a more talented QB.

He’s Cam Newton if Cam Newton could sling it at an elite level.

Beat up on bad teams? He had numerous signature wins, actually had more than one playoff win and he never had the OLs and some
of the skill position players Dak has had. Dak quite possibly might be the most overrated player in Cowboys history. He’s complete trash.

The difference is one has boatloads of talent while the other needs boatloads of talent around him to be successfull

Been 'hating' on Dak since he stole Romo's job.. and pretty much all my complaints then are the same as now. Bad pocket presence, poor arm strength, woeful accuracy, no game sense, no respect for the run, over inflated ego, poor decision maker and struggles on routine route throws.

Dak is an anchor that will see our Cowboys stay away from the prize for a few seasons yet.

Josh Allen is pedigree and was drafted early first round and plays like top teir talent against equal competition. Dak lacks physical talent and mental ability. He was drafted in the 4th round and plays like a 6th round selection against equal talent. People keep blaming the team but Daks play is night and day from playing a division team to playing outside the division. And now Dallas has a 40 mil dollar a year injury prone backup QB for a starter. Jerry needs to wake up and get rid if this money hungry bum.

It's simple really.

Dak outplayed his draft position, but that doesn't mean he's some kind of great talent at QB.

Both of things can be true.

He is not a QB that you should've ever build your franchise around. When Dak is the QB you chose to build around the margin of error is insanely small. You literally can't mess up anywhere else or it's all for naught. When our GM has no clue what he's doing it's almost impossible to build the team Dak requires to be successful. I mean, most great GMs would have trouble building a team around Dak to make the team successful, and Jerry certainly can't do it. He requires elite talent everywhere to even look serviceable. If you take even 2 or 3 of those 11 pieces on offense away it can literally derail everything for him. A great talent does not suffer so much whenever things get shifted around. The quicker we can move on the better. I would rather spend years like the Bengals and Bills searching for an actual talent at QB then tie anymore years up in QBs that never will have the skills.
