You won't see me complaining about going all in during Romo's last years.

And all those dismissing the idea would quickly change their tune if this happened. Suddenly Gordon would be an outstanding human being who is just misunderstood.

Cowboys have had some success with trouble players lately, Ro being one of them. Maybe change of scenery would do him good

If any team can take in a troubled WR and get his head straight its us.

Oh come on. As soon as you heard him speaking about how excited he is to be in Dallas you'd be slapping the poster up on the wall.

I don't disagree. I also think environment has a lot to do with it. Rolando in Oakland was an outcast forced to retire in his prime. Here he's a leader.

I thought about the same thing this morning. I would get flamed for making this topic, but I think there is validity to it.

If Gordon is released, I would sign him and trade Williams for a pick or a player to help the defense.

The offense would be unstoppable and the defense would be much upgraded.

Embrace the flame!

We'd be a terrifying matchup for anyone. It's possibe, far fetche'd and highly unlikely but possible.

If AP is mulling retirement maybe it's not all about $$$ to him. He's on record saying he'd love to play here.

Gordon is from Texas and would have a big brother in Dez to help get him on the right path. Maybe the change of scenery would turn things around for him.

Very high risk with potential for very high reward if it worked out. And if Jerry wants people talking Cowboys, he'd get his wish.

He told his coach he was sitting out the last half of a game. No thanks, his only after money

First of all he says he didn't say that. Second, its more about not being involved on a team that is struggling. That wouldn't be the same problem here.

per Rotoworld...

Just a hypothetical, if we re-signed Dez, lost Murray to FA, signed Adrian Peterson to a team friendly contract, and worked a deal to get Josh Gordon, just think about how terrifying that lineup would look.

Remember this is a hypothetical and I'm only looking at talent so save the child abuse jokes.

You'd have to account for 2 STUDS at WR. Along with AP behind the best O-line in the league.

Our draft would be heavy on the defensive side and we'd have a healthy Lee, McClain, and Spencer returning, and Lawrence would have a year of experience under his belt.

Go ahead and roast away but don't tell me the thought of that isn't exciting!

I'd sign him for $1.00 which he has to pay back if he does not play 100% of 16 games.

Can someone please explain to me why the Vikings just flat out would release AP? I mean, he is still under contract. I would at least try to trade him and get something out of him.

Nobody is willing to trade for his current contract. He's making too much money for the Vikings or anyone else to pay.

2015: $12.75 million, 2016: $14.75 million, 2017: $16.75 million

I was thinking the same thing. What if he took a small contract and even allowed us to pay Murray. The two of them splitting carries would extend both their careers... People don't think about this because football players don't normally do this, but Welker did it.

No to Gordon, no to AP and also no to Suh.....
No jokes about anything, just no to them.

Besides issues off the field as well as on the field with Gordon and Suh. And Peterson is getting up there in years for a RB. And all will cost to much against the cap, as there won't be cap friendly deals from any of them.

As much as the talent would be interesting, just not worth it. How much does AP actually have left. Maybe a lot, maybe not. But I wouldn't want to take that chance.

They sold the future too many times on older or top talented players, and none of them really worked out, or was that big difference maker.

Stay with the draft and youth and mid level FA's. Things are working fine without the big splash, or the WOW players......

Cowboys top priorities heading into the offseason should be to cut loose Dez, Murray, and Rolando McClain and use that money to sign Gordon, AP, and Suh.

How? Those guys aren't under contract. There's a ton of guys who have to be re-signed. Call me crazy, but I like balance more and I'd take care of our own before going for Gordon.

Most notably Bryant & McClain.

Gordon has 1 year left on his contract. That means it is a contract year. If we traded for him, it would be worth it. Worst case scenario we lose a low round draft pick. He is still on his rookie deal.

Who is saying sign Peterson to a 7 year deal? How do you know how much he will cost?

Yeah, no to Suh.

i like Gordon the player but I'm fine with what we have. I think twill is doing well for a third passing option or a team that runs a lot too.

No thanks. Josh Gordon needs help. The whispers around the league are that his substance abuse will very soon have him out of the league if he doesn't acknowledge his problem and seek treatment.
