I think they will be better than last year. However, I am worried about starting off slow with suspensions and youth. I feel like Ive been waiting "another offseason" since Quincy was the QB LOL.
Until there is a proven pass rush, it's all smoke and mirrors.

Im optimistically projecting Collins and Irving to continue to improve. I also have high hopes for Taco. The thing I like best about this defense is thier youth. At the least the guys we are hoping to see improve are young and havent reached thier potential. Id be more pessimistic if we were older and already reached our ceiling. I do agree though, we NEED a proven pass rush to succeed.

Lets not also forget Conley was found not guilty and no mention of a suspension for him. If it happens before youre drafted the league cant really do anything to you. And dont bring up Zeke because his incident was in July of 2016, after the draft
I thought conley was still being investigated?

When I see a pass rush, I'll get really optimistic.

Until then, it's a lost cause for championships.

Reminds me so much of the ending of that Kanye song GOLD DIGGER ....You know that part when he says something like "and when he get on, he leave your *** for a white girl" ...I know money is tight and all....and they both young and all....but ummm did she not know that one day he might be in the NFL...... I hope he writes her mom and her a nice check for all they done for him while he was in college and leave her be.

And what has compounded the issue is illegitimate, deceiving and erroneous studies that claim there is a 'rape culture' on college campuses which only help lead to more false accusations and lead to our judicial system skirting the law to appease social justice warriors.

Its not just the claim, the US Department of Education told Universities several years ago that if they were deemed to have an unsatisfactory record on the issue they would lose all Federal funding, which basically puts them out of business. That policy was just reversed but it explains why so many Universities had Kangaroo Courts that treated accusation as fact and did not let the accused defend themselves.

No, they are not.

Female accusers get more justice without any real investigation done far too often. Just like the Duke Lacrosse case, the Rolling Stones UVA article, the Brian Banks case, the "Mattress Girl", Owen Labrie, William McCaffrey, etc.

And what has compounded the issue is illegitimate, deceiving and erroneous studies that claim there is a 'rape culture' on college campuses which only help lead to more false accusations and lead to our judicial system skirting the law to appease social justice warriors.

You're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Despite that, claims of false accusations has not deterred law enforcement and the judicial system from continuing to arrest and prosecute men at almost any cost regardless of their innocence.

In the meantime, it has allowed women the power to falsely accuse somebody with little to no repercussion. Wanetta Gibson never went to jail for falsely sending Brian Banks to prison for 13 years. Owen Labrie's accuser was/is continually protected by the state, Mattress Girl somehow settled to actually *get money* from Columbia University and nothing happened to the accuser of the A Rape on Campus story in Rolling Stone.

The latest studies show that roughly 10% of rape accusations are false accusations. But, that doesn't include the accusations that are made and dispensed by police prior to making an arrest or the cases where the defendant is found not guilty due to strong evidence that the claim was made up.

False accusations against men is something that's on the rise and I don't see anything at this point to make me think it won't continue to climb. And as false accusations continue to rise, that gives the truly guilty more credibility.

False accusations are the real problem?

1000 women in the U.S. are killed by their abusers every year. Yet you are worried more about the occasional accusations that can't be proven (note can't prove does not mean false).

What's next? Are you going to argue that white folks are the real victims of racism?

You and Yakuza are both right so there is really no point of arguing.

This is why we have trials.

Regardless.. This was a misdemeanor anyways and he could've paid a fine and been done with it but he was so adamant about not having this attached to him that he took it to trial and won.

Wishful thinking on your part.

Do people still really not get that I used Parnell to prove a point. He just happened to be the guy that fit my criteria.

The point was that many fans derive their own opinions from the media.

Nobody in the media was telling fans about Parnell; therefore most of them couldn't see that he was a good player without media reinforcement.

It's especially true for players that the camera does not follow.

It got to comedy levels when people started claiming Doug Free was an outstanding run blocker all because Aikman highlighted 1 good play by Free.

At least now more and more people have quit quoting Broaddus and are beginning to understand that his opinions are often wrong.
In the end Parnell got a lot more money and is still playing.......Free was always the Teacher's Pet and LCollins moving to RT shows that to a certainty....there is no question LCollins is better than Free but he wasn't given a shot at the job until Free retired

Football just isn't the same anymore. 50 years ago, the black community had an out of wedlock birth rate lower than whites. Then came the welfare state, & it's been all down hill ever since. Even though they constitute just under 70% of the NFL population, over 95% of all suspensions are to black players. Spare me the, "The system's rigged against them" crap. The NFL represents the country as a whole in that blacks just commit more crimes, & more football infractions, as a percentage of the population, than whites. It's because over 75% of them grow up with no father to pattern themselves after. My dad was a jerk, but he modeled hard work & accountability. These kids don't have that. Until the black culture changes & fathers are forced to be accountable for the children they help to create, we're just going to have to deal with so many of these problems in football, & the Cowboys are going to have to be a lot more selective about who they allow to wear the Star.

That happened to a friend of mine, his wife knew the legal system very well. He found out she was cheating and called her on it (over the phone). She didn't come home that night and the next morning filed reports that he had sexually abused their kids (and she had somehow missed it for years) and he lost his kids.

Everyone on this board likely knows a woman who has been abused and a man who has been falsely accused. This AbeBeta schtick of calling everyone knuckledraggers in every single thread is pathetic.
That is repulsive. Let someone try to take me from my baby. Especially with those sorts of claims.

My ex would never do that, tho. She knows he's my lifeblood and I would most certainly kill for him. Like plotting in the bushes, stalking like a creepy butler (to borrow lyrics from Tool) kill.

Kaiser, I hope your buddy got that sorted out. I wouldn't be able to deal that, needless to say. Thankfully I'll never have to worry about that.

That is just sad and horrible to read, tho.

It is ironic that she has been with him for 3 years and now that they are weeks away from cashing in on 1st Round money she screws it all up by going psycho over a few pennies in wasted lights

He was probably trying to wait up for her and fell asleep(the romantic in me) and that is why the lights were still on..... I don't know if she was at work,a the club or traveling but she really ruined any chances of cashing in..........unless she thought she could get a civil judgement after the criminal case but courts don't pay out on pillow fights
