Jourdan Lewis - not guilty

Football just isn't the same anymore. 50 years ago, the black community had an out of wedlock birth rate lower than whites. Then came the welfare state, & it's been all down hill ever since. Even though they constitute just under 70% of the NFL population, over 95% of all suspensions are to black players. Spare me the, "The system's rigged against them" crap. The NFL represents the country as a whole in that blacks just commit more crimes, & more football infractions, as a percentage of the population, than whites. It's because over 75% of them grow up with no father to pattern themselves after. My dad was a jerk, but he modeled hard work & accountability. These kids don't have that. Until the black culture changes & fathers are forced to be accountable for the children they help to create, we're just going to have to deal with so many of these problems in football, & the Cowboys are going to have to be a lot more selective about who they allow to wear the Star.
Duck........

Kaiser, I hope your buddy got that sorted out. I wouldn't be able to deal that, needless to say. Thankfully I'll never have to worry about that.

Thanks, he was a great guy and you are a great Dad. He was the more than a bit crazy E6 that would pop off a zinger in Formation. But honestly, it destroyed him.

I think rape is a worse crime than murder but false accusations do happen, and they happen fairly often. Especially toward guys with a lot of money or a lot of money coming their way. Which is exactly why you have to look at each case individually and not the the idiotic pontification we read in this thread.

Duck........
Truth hurts. No racism intended. Just the opposite. The socialist system has turned a once proud culture into a bunch of beggars & criminals, & it's time it got turned around. Only truth can do that. White trash, myself, so I know of what I speak. Lived around blacks my entire youth. My best friend throughout middle school was black, & racists don't hang with people they hate.

Did he beat it? Does he see his babies?

And thanks for the compliment, my brother in Arms.

It is ironic that she has been with him for 3 years and now that they are weeks away from cashing in on 1st Round money she screws it all up by going psycho over a few pennies in wasted lights

He was probably trying to wait up for her and fell asleep(the romantic in me) and that is why the lights were still on..... I don't know if she was at work,a the club or traveling but she really ruined any chances of cashing in..........unless she thought she could get a civil judgement after the criminal case but courts don't pay out on pillow fights
I"m just gonna say she was 100% wrong....She was supposed to say "Baby wake up, lets go to bed" while in bed and cuddling softly bring up the light bill but then stroke his ego and maybe other things about him staying focused on his workouts to get into the NFL....LMAO

The last time I saw him he had very limited visitation rights after a long legal battle. He left the unit and had basically withdrawn from most parts of his life the last time I saw him.

BTW on one of his best lines. He was Mexican and fourth generation American. Spoke fluent spanish and grew up in East LA so occasionally someone would ask him if he grew up in the US. He was say (truthfully) "Yes, my Father jumped into Normandy on D-Day" and then just stare at them for a minute. It was always funny.

Zekes stuff took place before the draft too.....and that never even went to court
Was Zeke suspended for anything? They may be using the current stuff to "get back" at him, but they never touched him for DV.

This isn't the other site your used to posting at smh. Everything is a case by case basis

False accusations are the real problem?

1000 women in the U.S. are killed by their abusers every year. Yet you are worried more about the occasional accusations that can't be proven (note can't prove does not mean false).

What's next? Are you going to argue that white folks are the real victims of racism?

10% of rape accusations are false rape accusations. And that doesn't include false accusations that are settled prior before police can arrested the accused OR the cases where the man is found innocent. And there's roughly 70,000 rapes per year.

This isn't just 'occasional' and I would dare say that it's close to 1,000 men per year are falsely accused of rape. Not to mention those men falsely accused of battery, sexually abusing their children, etc.

Wait, you think rape is worse than murder???? Tell me you were joking. There's absolutely zero question that rape is a heinous, unforgiveable crime, but worse than murder? Just no. I don't think you're going to find a single person that says they would rather be murdered than raped. You can come back from rape and lead a very good, productive life. You pretty much can't say the same thing if you're dead.

Good thing you had a friend or otherwise you would look like a bigot:rolleyes:

no he wasn't but my point is they have been "investigating" his DV situation for over a year now with whispers of a potential suspension even though it never got to the stage of a trial. so to say Lewis faces no discipline simply because he was found not guilty isn't necessarily true

you have to understand that if you proved him wrong his entire world view would be shattered.

The fact that just about everyone knows someone that has had a false charge of one kind or another leveled at them should be a hint to him that he is way wrong.

I myself know of three separate instances of false claims. Two of them were in the end stopped but it was bad for the guys involved. In one case a coworker had his wife claim DV abuse at his divorce trial and since it was California she was absolutely believed despite no evidence or corroboration. Her word was good enough for the judge to make my coworker pay horrendous child support and have no visitation rights at all. He only started to see his kids a few years ago they were in their twenties. His wife had so poisoned them that one of them asked why he was not in jail because of all the crimes he had committed (according to her). By the way this guy is one of the nicest people I have ever met. And one of the straightest. But she made him out to be a monster and kept at it even after the divorce.

I hear your point, I was just being a nerd about it:D (pre draft is technically off limits, etc.) That's why I think they're trying to pin this petty stuff on him more recently; so your point holds true.
