My exact sentiments. If more men file charges - not after a court case - but right after being assaulted by a woman, then a normal woman would think twice about hitting a man no matter how mad she gets. The truly viloent women would probably continue, but men should press charges anyway. It's macho bravado that causes them to let a woman beat all over them without pressing charges.

I'm going the opposite way on this one.
I think there is something here in the she said and he said we are not privy to.

The actual truth.

If a woman does this and looses then I think they get themselves labeled. If I'm a man and know about this I would not go near her.

I doubt he'll get suspended. There's no bases for a suspension, particularly with a not-guilty verdict. And, no, Goodell can't arbitrarily suspend him if he has committed no actions that violate the NFL's code of conduct or behavior. A woman accusing you of domestic violence when there's no evidence and no ruling supporting the claim is not sufficient grounds for a suspension.
And please don't bring up Hardy. A judge ruled Hardy had committed DV, and the case was thrown out because the witness disappeared so the case did not go forward. Furthermore, Hardy AGREED to the suspension.
Lets not also forget Conley was found not guilty and no mention of a suspension for him. If it happens before youre drafted the league cant really do anything to you. And dont bring up Zeke because his incident was in July of 2016, after the draft

No single woman has to stay in a bad situation. That is as ignorant as it gets.

She might be unable to afford a place without her partner.

She might literally have nowhere else to go long term.

You have to be kidding with that garbage.

Lots of single folks can get by on minimum wage jobs. Right. Many cities are completely impossible on those wages. You have no idea what you are talking about.

and its people like you that have contributed to the problem.

There are groups that help people that are victums of DV.

People come here from Mexico with literally nothing. Some actually have to make payments to the people that got them here. They manage on minimum wage in California, Texas, Florida, etc..

There are buses that take people places for a small amount of money.
In my community the local churches play a big role.

bottom line is that there are ways for women to get out of situations and all too often they won't. There are all sorts of 'reasons' but in the end it is their choice not to try. I have no sympathy for them; and its their children that they keep putting in danger by being there.

Please explain then your motivation for the basic "women lie" angle.

I'm sure you've got a great one waiting.

BTW. My white Knight cape beats a white hood any day. Apologize in advance if you've spent poorly on wardrobe

Hmm well seeing as how I'm black, it might be a little hard for me to get into that white hood group....

This is good news as my dream of Brown, Lewis, Awuzie starting at the top 3 CB spots and Carroll getting them Gatorade on the sidelines is still alive.

Gil Brandt suggested that Jourdan Lewis could be the best cornerback in the draft.

How yummy is that?

Its delicious! I actually feel pretty optimistic about this defense. Really wish Irving (and Williams?) werent suspended.

I don't feel that optimistic about the defense now. But I do after another offseason or two.

I think they will be better than last year. However, I am worried about starting off slow with suspensions and youth. I feel like Ive been waiting "another offseason" since Quincy was the QB LOL.

Time to get his *** on the field. When will he make it to Oxnard? Leon McFadden needs some competition.

Delicious until I realize Gil is the same guy who once said Rod Hill was the best CB in his draft. :omg:
