I exect a loss. :( I think we lose to giants bears eagles and packers.
Wow, I certainly hope the team has more confidence than some people on this forum. Judging from the comments I am reading in response to this thread, we have thrown up the white flag before the game is even played on the field. I acknowledge, and have stated that we have sucked royally lately, but those comments just fire me up and I be damned if I give him props by saying he is right and I will not concede a loss before we even take the field, no matter how badly we have been playing! I feel like I dont know you guys anymore. Time to man up!

Talking to them like that likely frightens them as well. Be easy on these delicate souls.

Cowboys are in a win win situation.

If we win it's great and we're still in the playoff hunt. If we lose it's great because we're closer to getting rid of one of the worst coaches in football that doesn't tip his waitresses.

lol... there is always a silver lining if you look close enough. Think of it this way.. if we fall apart.. we won't have a first place schedule next year.. we will probably get a top 15 draft pick vs. back 12 draft pick, and we "should" have justification to get rid of old man kiffin and his outdated defensive program, Jason Garrett, Callahan, and maybe even trade away some over the hill vets.

I will root for us to make the playoffs and win the division but we all know this team isn't going to go anywhere in the playoffs anyway.

JPP had a great pick six yesterday but I just wish he would let his play talk and not his mouth.

To be able to say this is a huge game for the Giants and their playoff chances after starting 0-6 is mind boggling. I just hope they don't let this start going to their heads and become cocky. 0-6 should have been enough to humble them for at least this year.

Your team is full of idiots so I doubt it humbled them.

I don't know how anyone who watched our last game can spout off with any confidence.

As Brainpaint just pointed out, with all cylinders "firing" and gaining SIX turnovers, we won the first Giants game by five points (at home).

The last 4 weeks they've beaten Freeman, Barkley, Pryor and Tolzien, I mean common.
Yes, the Giants have played a soft schedule.

Unfortunately, their soft schedule continues with the Cowboys riding into town.

I really don't care what happens this week. I really don't even want to watch the stupid game but since i'm a Cowboy fan i'll force myself to be bored for a few hours.

Anyways... Dallas usually plays better in New York for some reason. Should be interesting watching 2 bad teams play each other. If Dallas loses then LOL @ Jason Garrett and his stupid process and where it has gotten us.

I can not believe we're struggling to win the division this year.

Oh my goodness, our fans are so afraid of everything. Its really a damn shame, yall are TERRIBLE scared fans. You're soooo embarrassing. Geez!!! Smh!!!

All you ever post about are the fans, what is wrong with you? Who cares if some fans are optimistic or pessimistic, it seems as though you are more concerned with the fans on this board than the Cowboys.

Your team likely beat us.

That doesn't change the fact that your roster is full of mornic ***clowns on it. I'd like nothing more than have the Cowboys shut their pieholes, but it likely won't happen, sadly.

Here's the difference.

The Giants as a team have a lot more confidence in themselves than the Cowboys do. They have won two Super Bowls, and have beaten the Cowboys in potential season ending games on both occasions.

The Cowboys have lost win and you're in games the last two years, and have not swept the Giants in the regular season since 2007.

It's akin to a quote the late great Angelo Dundee made when speaking about Muhammad Ali prior to him facing Larry Holmes in 1980. Ali had looked like crap during training, with his sparring partners (including Tim Witherspoon and Thomas Hearns) getting the best of him. Reporters asked him how Ali thinks he can actually win the fight, being that he had been out of the ring for two years, and had looked terrible in training. Dundee said when Ali looks in the mirror, he feels good about himself. That, was all that he needs to think that he can, and will, win.

This is similar to how the Giants feel about themselves. Hopefully for the Cowboys, the Giants more resemble the Ali who fought Holmes rather than the fighter that he had been in other tough situations.

I hope the Cowboys show up...

Which Cowboys? Who the heck knows what will show up at game time. Every week is a new and exciting adventure into the unpredictable. That is except for all of the stuff that is predictable...

Maybe it's cause I'm only in my early 20s and I didn't witness the glory of the 90s which makes my expectations low, but it amazes me how some are so down on the Boys and have lost hope. I mean don't get me wrong they played horribly on national television and don't deserve any respect or confidence from their fans, I guess I'm just a little shocked that people have already given up hope. I understand it though I guess in a sense ... just surprising.

I'm one of the few lol.. I know we have played inconsistent this year, but so have the Giants. This game is winnable for both teams. I just think we'll come out on top again. Eli has struggled all year. Romo had a bad game and I'm more confident in Romo coming through vs Eli.

Guys, some of you need to calm down. This is the .500 Cowboys. We beat teams below .500 and lose to teams above .500. The Giants are a VERY week team. There is no reason we don't go in there and get the win against them. Plus we are getting several quality players back... Hatcher, Wilcox, Claiborne, etc. The Giants are opening up as 2.5 favorites but I see us winning this one.

Exactly right. Although the Giants have won a few games, they are not the same Giants as in years past. Their pass rush is still suspect, their linebackers are horrible and Eli is still having an awful year. I watched their game yesterday and they looked bad against a team that had no firepower. They are good at stopping the run which is all you have to do now against Green Bay.

We have been bad too but I think if we get some players back we're a better football team than them.

The giants own us in these kind of late season games, cowboys need to show me things are different before I buy in.

Yeah he is probably right but I would rather hear from a player who is actually producing. Yeah JPP your G-Men probably will take it to us but it surely won't be because of you. That would actually irk if I were a Giants player.. dude is writing checks the other players have to cash.

Honestly, I think he's right. And I don't even think we win the NFC East when it's all said and done. Put a fork in us.
