I used to wonder if Nors could be easily replaced here at the forums.


Apparently he was easily replaced cuz now we have Philo Beddoe posting the same level of nonsense.

Whoah nelly. Prophet is no coward, my friend. I'm afraid the planning is up to Jeff Ireland & "The Gang", not me. What I've simply said is that JuJones can be replaced through the draft. We're not talking about replacing a Hall of Famer here. He was a second round pick, we should have drafted S. Jackson or Kevin Jones that year, Jones was a leftover. He flashes potential and is a tease, but little more. I'll leave the draft planning to the professionals, which I am not. I don't think the Cowboys are at all high on Jones, where there's smoke, there's fire. I'm sure the "braintrust" has something cooking, I'm eager to see what it is. If Jones stays--fine, he's decent, but he doesn't deserve a huge contract for what he's done thus far. My OPINION is that we wouldn't miss him all that much if we draft well. Who exactly the RB would be at this point is impossible to say--too many variables.

You trade him away. Trade him now or at the draft, just let people know it can be done, and do it. If we get a third, that's gravy, because let's be honest, any RB in the third round can do what Jones does (you know, earn over 1k yards and carry a 4.1 average).

As for who to take - it's EAAAAAAAAAAAAASY. But I'm not going to say who. That's why we have scouts that can do that sort of thing.

Just take it from me on faith, it isn't hard to upgrade Jones, who did what any decent RB drafted in the mid rounds can do. Just grab one and we will get at least the same production, with a chance at more.

I haven't said that Philo. You are the one who threw out a claim.

Julius Jones can be easily replaced.

If you can't back it up (I know you can't) then just say so. But don't run and hide form your own claim.

BTW, I can argue either point, but at least I'll back up what points I make. My only point so far is that neither you nor your tag team partner have the wherewithal to make these claims and then back them up and with every post you prove me correct.
