Good on you, JJ.
You were a shining light the first year, full of energy and . . . yes, potential.
Didn't work out the way we all thought.
Good luck whether you stay here or go on to another team. You gave it your all and that is what counts.

I hope those Lion O lineman where extra pads on there backs............

cause JJ will be running into there backs on a regular basis...........:lmao::lmao:

Those who do not know the difference between wear and where and their and there should not poke fun at professional athletes' performance or running style. Or, if you must, please don't throw bones in grass houses.

Yes, I was one of JJ's biggest fans when he got drafted...and in that first year I knew I was right.

Then...I have no idea what happened to him?

Maybe the pressure of Parcells, the Dallas fans/media, his brothers stats, and MBIII's emergence just took it's toll on the guy?

I wish him luck wherever he goes...even if he stays. Maybe things will change, maybe not?

Detroit makes sense. Chicago would be a good fit for Jones as well.

Kevin Jones was just on espn news and he looked high or like he hadnt slept in a week.

He said something very odd.

"hard work comes with success"

Am I crazy or is that just back asswards.

Drafting comes with free agency.

I wish him nothing but the best in his endeavors running straight into piles of players.

Mark my word,if JJ leaves Dallas,it will turn out to be a big mistake. You need a burner on your team,Barber is good, but the change up is bad to the bone.

I wish JJ Good Luck where ever he goes, it was sad that IMO Parcells tinkered with his running style so much it made him into a Robot, he was so exciting his first year or so here.

I prefer to refer to it as "Dumbed Down".

Julius: running"the lions want to meet me, the lions want to meet me"

hey, Julius! Houston wants to talk to you too!

Julius: keeps on running head down"the lions want to meet me, the lions want to meet me"

forget about any other team getting a chance to talk to Julius, he's running to Detroit, and won't see you

It went downhill for Julius after he started reading two key performance books in the in the last few years and they are:

'Take The Money And Run' by Ricky Williams
'Slacking Is Better Than Whacking' by Roy Williams

These authors were so influential in Julius' Cowboys career that it inspired him to author his own book while waiting on the sidelines for Barber to tire. Julius Jones' new book is called '15 Ways To Decorate Your Uterine Wall'.

If the Lions sign him, they'll have had three of the top four running backs coming out of that draft class. So far, all of them have been somewhat disappointing, except for Stephen Jackson.

I agree. I really wish he never lost his instincts and only flashed it on rare occasion after his first year. I hope he finds a new start somewhere.

the difference here is that I made a mistake in my vocabulary that i will not repeat ......he runs into the back of O line 3 or 4 times per game.......

so comparing my type o's to his inadequacies at vision in his running game makes no sense

*correction*: typos

Sorry... had to do it:laugh2:

I do hate it when these type of correction threads come up. I mean, it may irk me at times, but I still understand the point that is being made for the most part.

Julius didn't do either. I don't understand where you get off saying this.
