I think you're on to something. Even if they are overrating Julius, I doubt they are underrating Tatum. They know what he is.

His running style changed, didn't Bill tell him to just hit the Hole were the play was designed to go weather it was there or not and not Cutback or take it outside?.

Even still, his style has changed as it's obvious that he lost a lot of flexibility, probably due to gaining too much muscle mass. I looked at him running in '04 compard to '07 and his stride angle was less and he seemed to have less flexibility in his hips as well.
