I teed off at 2:00 with my son , 2 rod-n-reels , and a 6 pack of Grolsch !

There were four groups on the entire course when we teed off , so we were able to play a couple of balls and just screw around .

There are 9 water hazards on my course , and each has a pretty good share of black bass . We slayed on each one with a single top water lure each .

I don't care if it was the best game ever , I still had a better time . ;-)

:laugh2: LOL at the original poster....

Not only do I not care if it was the greatest game you ever saw... It still has virtually no meaning of importance in my life.

I had a wonderful family outing and did not once think about the Unsuperbowl

i wouldn't have called it a 10 ten of all time, it was good but far from great

I dont think it was a great game... 1st 3 qtrs were hard to watch....

I will say that the ENDING was one of the greatest.... certainly in the top 10.... probably in top 5 there

That must have been a really late "family outing", given the time difference and all?

Didn't watch 1 second of it. In fact, I didn't know who won until I got up this AM. I had zero interest in the SB this year for the first time that I can remember. It was for sure the only SB I have not watched since SBV when I was V.

It was an unwatchable game for me -- can't pull for NYG nor did I want to see NE win. Basically, the situation sucked for me.

And I couldn't care less that I didn't see it -- although I will admit that I'm glad that NE lost.

I didn't watch a snap, and you know what, I could care less that the Giants won and the Patriots lost. The wife and I had a great time last night watching a double feature at the movies (Cloverfield and Rambo), having drinks at a bar WITHOUT TV's, and chatting it up.

Based on the replays that I've seen on Sportscenter, this SB in no way is a top 10 Superbowl. MAYBE in the latter part of the top 20, and that's being generous.

wow........just wow.

how was history made? they are now the 3rd team to go 18-1? it was a good game. theres no arguing that. i just dont see it as a top 10 game its just my two cents

Maybe you guys just dont enjoy a defensive battle with a team that can score at the blink of an eye?

Every time Brady stepped back to throw I was worried the Pats would make a big play.

Plus it was fun actually watching Brady not have 4 seconds to throw the ball everytime he steps back to pass.

If you don't like great defensive play then I guess it was boring. I found it refreshing that both defense went out and played very good football. I think the 2 weeks each team had to get ready for the game helped both defensive units.

Agreed.

That was a hard hitting physical football game.

The Giants offensive game plan looked so identical to a Parcells offensive game plan.

It was the perfect recipe to knock off an 18-0 team.

You must not enjoy watching anyone but Dallas play.

I get that.

But a lot of people who complain about things are the same people that never watch another NFL team play.

I think both teams played a good defense. Giants did have the 5 sacks and the Pats 3. Both teams forced a turnover and both defense were 50% on 3rd down stops. Because of all of that we saw a 17 to 14 game

I agree I loved every second of that game.

The Patriots were great on D and the Giants were even better.

I love defensive battles. Before all the rule changes in the NFL thats how a lot of games used to be.

Last night was a nail biter and I had a feeling who ever had the ball last would win.

Anyone who thinks this wasn't an all time game for the NFL needs to take their opinions else where.

Superbowl, undefeated team, and they get taken down with late heroics by ELI MANNING! It couldnt have been better.

And as much as I dislike Eli he deserves some love for the BS hes taken from his critics and Shockey and Tiki.

WOW, did y'all miss a surefire, "Top 10 NFL games of all time?" on lists from here on out.

Sure hope dinner at Applebees and the 7:30 showing of "The Bucket List" was enjoyable.

Congrats to the Giants. They earned it!

All I have to say about the game is........

the skiing in Banff was great!! Had a great visit with my folks. Felt like I didn't miss a thing.

Happy the Patriots lost, but ****** the Giants lifted the trophy and not the Cowboys. We are still better than they are. But we choked and they didn't.

The fact that it may have been a good or entertaining game was of no relevance to me. You make it sound like I actually missed something. Fact of the matter is I didn't miss anything.

Good for you.

As much as I love football, spending time woth your family is infinitely better than watching 2 teams I could care less about.

I also had a much better day than having to watch the Giants and the Patriots.

I wound up watching....but it sucked.

You guys were under the impression that we THOUGHT it would be a BAD game.

No.....I didn't want to watch because I knew it would make me sick.

No matter who won, I'd hate the outcome.

So...nice try......

I still hated the game. For the simple fact that SOMEONE had to win.

I was torn on whether or not I wanted to watch it. Part of me wanted to be defiant and not watch the Patriots create history; but part of me did. In the end, I ended up watching. It was too big of a lure. Plus, my friends were hosting a party...

It ended up being a great game made even better with great food and great friends.

Not really late as we didn't say we were gonna have the outing till the SB comes on...and as the kids have a school vacation now it wasn't necessary to watch the clock anyhow.

But I'm real sorry you had nothing better to do with your life :(

I watch other teams once and awhile during the regular season though...

I use to be a big NFL fan but the more pomp and pompous it gets the less I enjoy it...there was a time it was all about the game....now it is all about the dog and pony show...I really do not enjoy the peripheral things about it at all...

now I think I will make a general (and might I add silly) statement like the one you made ....(in which I took the liberty to bold) ...ready...

A lot of people who have no lives (and are probably terribly boring) are the same people that watch other NFL teams play as often as they can.

some people can not seem to wrap their mind around that...
