That was a year ago. He wasn’t nearly as good this season and is trending down, which is a big reason his team collapsed the second half of the season. His passer rating this season was a dismal 89.1, while Dak had a career best 105.9. You said you wouldn’t pay any QB big money and Hurts is making over $50M per. Do you think he’s worth that? He’s never had a 4000 yard season. Go check his career numbers. In 4 seasons he’s only thrown 67 TD passes. Dak has 73 TD passes the past 2 seasons. Dak has been better than Hurts in every statistical category. The only reason Philly reached the SB last season is because they had a great team. They looked good even with Gardner Minshew.
Kellen will change all that! :muttley:

Jalen Hurts has never thrown for over 3800 yards in his career and you idiots want me to believe you’d prefer him lol? Mind you he has Goedert, AJ and Devonte. The best core in the league lol.
Don't forget a line full of Pro Bowlers/All-Pro's. The Philly O-line might be the biggest wasted asset in the 2023 season. Philly and Baltimore o-lines gave their QB's the most time to throw in the league.

That's like saying you better accept that we are going to choke in the playoffs...
The entire team chokes, offense and defense. It didn’t matter whether it was Romo or Dak we fold in the playoffs.

What does Romo have to do with this??? Y’all truly can’t keep that man’s name out your mouth he hasn’t been qb in almost a decade. Let it go.

I feel like we just squandered three 12-5 seasons in a row and mostly because of bad QB play.
I actually think you are going to see this team take a step back next season, Dak or no Dak!
The defense has been the biggest issue by far in all the playoff losses under Dak. Wouldn’t be surprised if we suffer a hangover next season.

I've said it before, since the coaches are providing the leadership needed for the playoffs, we need a true leader at Quarterback to cover that deficiency. Dak doesn't even attempt to do anything on the field when the guys he is leading come out flat on the field.

27-0 didn't inspire the defense to get motivated either...

With the winter of discontent affecting both PHI and Dallas, if it were possible would you swap Hurts and Dak straight up?
I would.

At this point, we 100% know what Dak is. Not only will we never win a SB with Dak...we'll never make it to one.

We'll never make it to a NFC CG with Dak.

Hurts is still somewhat of an unknown. He definitely took a downward turn last year, but there's a chance his bad OC had something to do with it. All I'm saying is, I can't say for sure what Hurts will be in 5 years when he's Dak's age. I kinda think I know, but there's still uncertainty. I 100% know what Dak will be at Dak's age....this, and it's not good enough and never will be.

Go rant to someone else about Dak. Those of you who act like he’s the biggest problem with the team aren’t astute football fans or just have an agenda.

I would throw in my 2nd rounder as well to close that deal.
That wouldn't come close to closing the deal.

They want a new, franchise QB.

Micah is ready to break the bank, and disappears every winter.

This package (minus Dak, they wouldn't want him) might get their second 1st rounder though

Send Dak to Washington along with Micha for the #2 pick overall.

This way we can have Dak throw balls to our CB's and Safeties.
I'm sure that's exactly what Wash wants to use their lottery draft puck for.

A choke artist QB who wants a lot more.money, and a crazy defensive player looking to become the highest paid defender in league history

Yes we have an agenda, and that is for the cowboys to have success in the playoffs. What is the agenda of those willing to drag out mediocrity for a guy who doesn't show for the big game for the last era of cowboys football? You should be astute enough to know that while the biggest problem of this team might not be Dak but his contract. Its all costs versus benefits analysis. The costs outweighs the benefits at this point.

I agree but you are about to get trashed by the Cult Of Dak!
According to them, 31 teams would climb all over themselves to have a chance to have Dak on their team.

The defense never showed up from the opening drive.
Defenses tend to show up when they see their quarterback giving it his all to keep the team in the game. That is part of leadership, you can't be part of the problem. Simplifying it, you don't want people to have though of, "well I'm not gonna show up 'cause he's not showing up."

If that were the case we would get a bounty of firsts for Dak, after Tad talks him into leaving Dallas because of his lousy fans here. Does anyone besides a homer think that we can get a first for Dak at this point?
