With the winter of discontent affecting both PHI and Dallas, if it were possible would you swap Hurts and Dak straight up?
Not unless we get Hurts his old OC and we run him like a mule. Hurts is not a pocket passer.

Did he just not play in the super bowl and lose by only 3 points one year ago?

I don't want to pay Dak $60M because he can't get past the wild card round before choking.
That was a year ago. He wasn’t nearly as good this season and is trending down, which is a big reason his team collapsed the second half of the season. His passer rating this season was a dismal 89.1, while Dak had a career best 105.9. You said you wouldn’t pay any QB big money and Hurts is making over $50M per. Do you think he’s worth that? He’s never had a 4000 yard season. Go check his career numbers. In 4 seasons he’s only thrown 67 TD passes. Dak has 73 TD passes the past 2 seasons. Dak has been better than Hurts in every statistical category. The only reason Philly reached the SB last season is because they had a great team. They looked good even with Gardner Minshew.

No way in hell. I am all for finding another option from Dak but seriously. Philly had one of the biggest meltdowns, let downs, choke jobs, etc in history this year and Hurts was a big part of it…along with their defense.

Yes, he played in a Superbowl but I think he is a pure system qb. He may even be worse than Dak at reading coverage.

if you can’t tell, my vote is no way..lol.

Hurts won't choke every time in the playoffs, but he's not the solution hear given the meltdown we saw this season. Dak will always choke in the playoffs. So I don't want either. :)

Now Mahomes? I'll take him in a heartbeat.
He won't? He sure did this year. What makes you think he won't?

Nope. Hurts has been exposed, as many of us thought he would. He had a stacked team last year. This year, w/ still a very good team, he imploded and started throwing his teammates under the bus. Dak is an NFL passer. Hurts is a short term runner who may be done.

Oh, and don't leave out, Dak is only under contract for 1 more year. Hurts just signed a huge deal.

Again your talking to people who dont understand football...they need a villian, to them this is Batman or some BS..its not football where you look at what really happens..AND for sure they dont want to admit who the real villian is..he has been VERY front and center for 28 years...we dont have a 28 year QB...

Any fan that wants to move on from Dak without having a solid contingency plan at QB doesn’t know football. Most of the fans here want to move on from Dak and turn the reins over to either Lance or Rush and draft a QB. Teams don’t make drastic changes at QB after three 12 win seasons and two division titles. San Francisco didn’t move on from Jimmy G until they had a proven QB to take over for him. They didn’t just draft Trey Lance and say goodbye to Jimmy. They didn’t move on from Jimmy until Brock Purdy proved himself over the course of a full season. The Joneses feel like the Cowboys are close which is why they kept McCarthy and they still support Dak. As long as the team continues to make the playoffs, there’s hope they’ll take the next step.

For sure BUT Jerry is the probem..and its not fixable by "Replace this player/HC".. Trey lance is never gonna be an MVP candidate his best shot was to perform in a ridiculously loaded niners offense..he couldnt..there is facts then there is fiction. Trey Lance could be as talened as anyone..the best offensive mind in the game let him go for a 4th after seeing him..but yeah he is better than the guy who owns the Dallas Cowboys single season TD record because you know he sucks...

That an untrue statement. A fan can want to move on from Dak, and doesn't need to have a solid contingency plan. That is up to the franchise to do. I think anyone who thinks that Dak will improve at this point of his career is self deluding. We just will make things worse, holding onto a quarterback who doesn't perform in the playoffs but paying him the salary of one who has won super bowls.
