Right
IF he had a better resume I would commend him for him being so determine to stay. But instead, I'm questioning his sanity.

he said nothing TRUE it was his GUT feelings and yet people took it as biblical statemeets..lolFrazier didn't say anything bad about Garrett in the interview
I posted a thread about the changes in scheme games 1-3 vs the rest of the season and the Garrett sabotage angle was seen as out there lol. I think we underestimate JG’s ego issues
Why are there still threads about Jason f’n Garret? He’s gone and he ain’t coming back. Move on with your lives already.
And f Dez too. This ain’t 2014
Boy there is some shocking stupidity posted in this forum, but this stuff takes the cake. Garrett, the head coach, "interfered" with the team... lol.I think many of us whom were looking at things sensibly could see Garrett wanting to assert himself in some way other than just walking around and clapping. I remember watching Garrett toward the end of the season and marveling at how much he was suppressing his tendencies in regards to clapping. It was obvious at this point he, and everyone else knew his days were numbered, he had given his "give em hell for the gipper" speech one two many times and it had grown stale.
I think a few times during the year there was great hope in our team and if I'm being honest I believe this was when Garrett couldn't help but add a very unneeded dynamic in terms of his philosophy wishes. I think there were times where we should of attacked with the pass and it was obvious to everyone, but somehow we were forcing the run over and over to no avail. No matter what anyone on this forum says, I believe that when Garrett starting feeling good about things he interfered, he couldn't help himself, he had to be able to feel like he was somehow responsible and to the peril of our team.
Once things completely fell apart after the bills game was when everything spiraled in my opinion and the Bears game was another example. Once it became toxic there was no turning back, even Dak couldn't over come toxicity that permeated our team.

It's probably for everyone's well being that he supervises you.Whoa, coincidentally, my boss just sent me a message asking me to do something... why is he interfering with my day?

But they did shine.
all the way to the big trophy.
I believe it. And I believe Kellen Moore also had his hand forced as well. Its insane......its literally like Garrett sabotaged himself last season.
Yes he interfered. Remember, rumor has it that it was jones whom had basically made him a walk around rah rah coach and because of his lack of success and his responsibilities were stripped down. He still had pull though and is one of the best influencers that you will ever see. Remember Kellen Moore was a rookie coordination flying by the seat of his pants, so Garrett persuading him to alter his normal thinking could be an easy thing to do. Remember the offense was Garrett's thing and he believed he always had the answers even until the end of his tenure. Defensively I just believe that they suffered because Richard and Marinelli weren't at all on the same page because they had no one looking over them that could help the situation. Garrett had lost the team, but he could still get to Kellen.
There comes a time when as a player, you've heard the rah-rah speeches enough times, only to get to an actual game and the heat of battle and realize that the same guy giving you the speeches doesn't have the answers on gameday. He and his chosen staff, time and time again put you in the best position to succeed as a player. And, in fact, you are at a notable disadvantage out there on the field every week. Not only are your coaches not a help, but they are a hindrance. And you get to hear it on TV, read about it on the internet and in print, and hear about it from any contemporaries you have around the league.
I'm amazed that his act lasted for as long as it did. I think that was a testament to the good traits that Garrett did have in many instances.
so were Richard and Marinelli on the same page in 2018 when everyone was asking for Richard to be the coach?...lol
just stop....lol
Actually, yes, much more so... The team totally switched up the style of defense they were playing and went away from some of things richard preached. As time went on things got more and more complicated and they lost their way. This also can be attributed to not having a head coach whom is able to fix things.

Can you point me to an article where Jerry point out exactly what Garrett's duties were? As funny as the ones that you are making up are, if we're going to have a discussion about it I'd like to be working from facts.
..it was a blessing in disguise for us. ....I believe it. And I believe Kellen Moore also had his hand forced as well. Its insane......its literally like Garrett sabotaged himself last season.
I agree stash, but sometimes if I feel I have maybe just a tad bit of reasoning left where I might enlighten someone I will try...You shouldn't waste your time.
