Who would you rather sign

Right now we don't have a starting FS or hell, even a back-up to speak of. I'm guessing, $4-5M can lock both up for a year. Do that and let the best man win the starting job. Let's be honest, what are the odds of either one playing 16 games???

What u do is sign both. Let them make the team. Let them push one another out or both stay. This would eliminate a draft need.
This is your objective.

Give them both one year deals and sign who plays better after the year. Or stays healthy hell they both may wanna stay

Truth is there was little to no chance for us to find the kind of Safety needed to play the single high. Sure Johnson would have been nice but I wasn’t excited about anyone else. I would probably sign Hooker and hope. But they have to find someone in the draft.

LOL This will go over so many ppl's heads

So does it scare anyone else that our safeties next season could be the Falcons safeties from the past few years? I had this concern when we got McCoy and Poe and people told me don’t worry about it......
Wilson will be one of the safeties. Neal will be mainly at LB but will possibly work at safety with Wilson and Hooker/Kazee(which ever one is signed) when they go more DBs in passing situations

If we sign both then we’re not taking one in the draft and are in the same position next year

I’d rather sign one and draft a FS early

IDK.....we're probably NOT drafting day-one starter and I don't trust either player's health, especially for 16 games. This is why I'm thinking if we sign both $4-5M and draft a high developmental guy with 3rd, all bases are covered. Hell, let them duke it out in training camp. best man starts, loser back-up ( probably still plays quite a bit ) and young guy learns from both, hopefully, ready to start next season.

Kazee has had a better career and stayed healthier. And probably because of those two things going hand in hand.

So I'd probably go with him because the injury seems to be an aberration while it seems like a regular occurrence for Hooker. He's like Sean Lee was, great skills but can't stay healthy.

Came in here to say just this.

Kazee has a better health record and knows the coaches system.

Hooker has a little more talent but is literally always hurt.

I'd go with kazee and still draft a long term replacement.
