Patten had been having irritation in the knee since week 5, but nice try though.

He wasn't listed on the Commanders' injury report AT ALL until Week 10. He wasn't even listed as "probable." He didn't even miss a practice until Week 10.

If his complete lack of production can be explained away by a knee irritation so minor that he doesn't even get listed as "probable" on the injury report and doesn't keep him out of a single practice until Week 10, he has to be the softest player in the entire NFL.

Oh, and by the way, in the Commanders' three games before Week 5, when you claim his knee irritation popped up (which contradicts what the Commanders' director of sports medicine said), he had a whopping seven catches for 46 yards.

I see this thread has been kicked into the Opinion Zone, where it will die a quiet death.

Did it really have any direction? Do any of these Skins threads maintain any direction? It's mostly just,

"Honestly, Lloyd isn't very good"

"O RLY???? Llloyd totally r0xx0rs."

"No, he really doesn't. He's not even a good receiver."

"Yeah? well, he totally pwn3d the Cowboys last year."

and all the non-mouth breathers sigh.....

The ball was overthrown. There is no big deal.

Not only that, the Skins were up by 28 points at that point and it was the third quarter. Highly improbable a team is going to come back and Dallas still had two weeks to possibly make the playoffs. I'm not for turtle arms, but I'm more against my WR being taken by a poor throw on a down where the game is out of reach.

You forget the responses in Extreme Skins calling Lloyd better than Terry Glenn and even a few posters saying he'll be better than Owens.

And I'm dead serious.

We had some thread awhile ago, discussing this. Everyone in the thread, including Skins fans, were able to admit, upon further review, that the ball was uncatchable. This was not a Pinkston-Roy situation.

I wouldn't doubt it. But hey, they can have their homers, we have ours (albeit much less).

I just wish they'd keep their garbage from posting on our boards.

All ducking aside - Lloyd and El were sub-standard receivers before they joined the Commanders, and they're sub-standard receivers now. Obviously Joyner doesn't take all considerations into account, but he can give a pretty good picture. These guys are just not that good. Lloyd catches alot of hype for his circus catches - and if that's what the Skins want every 6 games, that's cool.
Exactly. Lloyd = Gardner.

My guess is, after he saw it was overthrown, he realized, "Oh ****!!!! I forgot my time machine today! There's no way I'm going to be able to travel back through the halls of time, in order to get an accurately thrown pass."

But that's only one theory.

:lmao2: ... friggn hilarious

Lloyd has a big mouth that his skills cant match..he can have a great game, like he did vs the cowboys last yr, but disappear like he did for the rest of the yr..He cant take hits, one hit in a game and he's worthless for the rest of that game..the nfc east is known for big hits, dont expect anything from him but alot of drops

Nice post Adam and I find it amusing that jrock saw this, posted in this thread after you posted it, but decided against trying to rebutte these facts. Just shows that jrock can not admit when he is wrong

that seems to be the case w/ most Commander fans on here when confronted with the facts, either they side-step it, or continue to voice their unfounded opinion

Just because someone isn't on the injury report, it doesn't mean they are healthy or practicing.

David needed surgery after week 9 and was practicing at half speed earlier in the season (no contract drills); he was hardly practicing at all after week 5.

Brandon Lloyd is highly overrated. I live in the Bay Area and have seen him play on multiple occations. For every acrobatic catch he makes, he runs a bad route, or drops an easy one. He's a good player, but tell met his...if SF is re-building, why would they trade away a young WR with loads of potential if they didn't know something about him. They bascially swapped Lloyd for Antonio Bryant.
Good point actually. I'll add that for every 49'er fan that says good riddance, there's another cursing the FO for letting their young talent go.

Brandon is a cocky kid and a prima donna; nothing new with WR's. He didn't like playing for a nothing team with no O-Line or QB and he didn't get along with the vets or the coaching staff. He did things like produce a rap album and would call out his QBs and teammates.

He's still talented and 3 times better then what we had lining up besides Moss last season. Our coaching staff won't put up with any of that crap.
