So where were all of these Commanders "fans" before this past year?

Did you just not know about this board, or did you have nothing to say for the past 13 games prior?

I'll wait...

Patten was injured...nice try though.

Patten didn't get injured until the ninth game of the season. He was perfectly healthy started seven of the first nine games. I listed his stats -- seven starts, 16 catches, 178 yards, 0 touchdowns. He did absolutely squat BEFORE he got hurt.

Poor try, though.

Please show them, and it was nice of you to ignore the rest of my post. I guess objectivity isn't a part of this discussion. The way you guys talk, I wonder why Lloyd is even still in the league.

less than 800 yards, then combine that with superpunks stats, that makes 3

more than 1

what's amazing that Lloyd could be worth what you gave up to get him

and I ignored the rest of your post because it was stupid, those WRs aren't known to be as inconsistent as Lloyd is, and combined with that they produce big while Lloyd only seems to do that once a year

You must have missed the post two above yours in which I posted the FACT that Patten was injured. The coach that can good production out of a WR with a blown knee is not just good, he's magical.

Who was coaching Patten before his injury in Week 9?

I know exactly what the stat involves. I also know what these players have done over the course of their careers, and what their reputations are. The stat, only confirms the reputation.

What you continue to ignore, is those other four recievers are #1 recievers on their respective teams and are productive. Lloyd isn't being asked to do nearly as much as they are. Thus, just because he hasn't caught more than 50% of the passes thrown to him does not mean he can't be effective in the Skins offense. It's really that simple.

Making up names already? Wow.

Have a great time. Don't strain anything trying to think up more clever  names that you can drop.
I almost thought you posted the wrong link, but after scrolling for what seemed like an eternity, there was EL and Lloyd.

Very impressive picksups.

How about our boy Crayton at 63%!

:laugh1:

Lloyd did all that with 109 passes thrown his way.

I'm sure he'll do scads more when he gets only the 58 balls Sami Parker got in Saunders' offense last year.

NIB - have fun spinning this one.

Patten had been having irritation in the knee since week 5, but nice try though.

his potential will get him 300 balls thrown his way, it's just too much potential

That's the defense-adjusted rankings. These guys are obviously a huge upgrade from Patten.

Oh Jesus, here comes the laundry list of players that were "injured" with their hangnails, stubbed toes, and overall vaginitis.

BTW, did you happen to glance at who was DEAD LAST among the recievers w/a minimum of 50 passes thrown their way last year?

What are you talking about??? Patten was injured...what's so hard to grasp about that? I didn't mention one other player.

I can name numerous things about you, your posting style, and what you consider logic that is stupid, but I wouldn't want to get banned. :) And besides, I just have too much class for that. ;)

I simply showed that your one stat does not show a reciever can't be effective, which was absolutely what you were trying to get at. Now you would like to talk about something else. Cute.

Did the Commanders overpay for what Lloyd has done so far in his career? Absolutely. They made the signing off potential, and with the way it's structured, if he doesn't pan out he can be let go off and the team won't be too hurt in terms of dead money.

Irritation in the knee, man. It'll get you every time.

I, sorry, we, me and punk, gave you 3 stats, and I didn't deviate from your statement at all, everything points to Lloyd being mediocre, even his own teammates said so for christssake!

then why are you here arguing? we both agree then that Lloyd is nothing but potential

At the very least, this is absolutely true.

So, I'm sure we would all appreciate it if all delusions of mediocrity that are dreamed of for these players, is saved for a Commanders board. They're just not all that good. They've shown flashes - just like hoards of other receivers in the league. If Scottie Vines came to the Skins, would his talent level jump consideerably?

In short, we don't want to hear your (not your, just "your", in general:)) lies about the skill level of said players. There is no backing it up, and it is simply annoying.

edit: any to "all that"
