Good point actually. I'll add that for every 49'er fan that says good riddance, there's another cursing the FO for letting their young talent go.

Brandon is a cocky kid and a prima donna; nothing new with WR's. He didn't like playing for a nothing team with no O-Line or QB and he didn't get along with the vets or the coaching staff. He did things like produce a rap album and would call out his QBs and teammates.

He's still talented and 3 times better then what we had lining up besides Moss last season. Our coaching staff won't put up with any of that crap.

brandon lloyd is much more then a prima donna..the guy thinks he's T.O..when owens was traded, he said he was going to fill his shoes, and make niner fans forget about T.O

thats not being cocky, thats being dillusional, he's younger todd pinkston...hence the sissy reaction when he's about to be hit

Firstly, anyone who said Lloyd is better than Glenn is a delusional homer. I said that in ES so no I'm not just kissing @$$. Secondly, if Lloyd was our #1 WR I'd say the Skins are completely sca-rewed. As a second or third option he's not horrible. If he gets his head screwed on right he could be a soild #2, #3 receiver and that's about it. He's a complimentary guy at best who hopefully takes some attention away from Moss and Cooley.

As for Moss/Patten, I don't know what the whole argument was, but having Patten in was effective as it kept Moss from being triple teamed. Not doubled, as he was before Patten went out, but tripled. Patten otherwise was a complete disappointment. He disappeared in most games and was basically a decoy. I think that's kinda why they brought in two new WR's this year. The level of competition at the position will push guys to step up or step on home. At least that's my take. I stilll think 1-2 the cowboys have the edge, but overall the Skins are deeper at the position. Only time will tell.

Just because someone isn't on the injury report, it doesn't mean they are healthy or practicing.

David needed surgery after week 9 and was practicing at half speed earlier in the season (no contract drills); he was hardly practicing at all after week 5.

Maybe you missed the part where he mentioned he had not missed any practice until week 10. The guy was healthy he may have been nicked up like ALL nfl players but he was healthy

In case you missed it, that part of Adam's post was pure speculation on the fact that Patten wasn't listed on any injury reports.

He wasn't practicing at all 2to3 weeks before his surgery and he practiced half-speed for the majority of the season. If you want me to prove it I will dig up old articles with blurbs about Patten taking it easy in practice and not practicing in weeks 7and8.

Just think about it though, the guy had a lingering knee injury, he was in pain and had to have reconstructive surgery to repair it. I think you can take my word for it when I say he wasn't practicing.

Nice post Adam and I find it amusing that jrock saw this, posted in this thread after you posted it, but decided against trying to rebutte these facts. Just shows that jrock can not admit when he is wrong

When I came out and said Patten's knee had been irritating him for much longer than that, I got ripped for that too. Nothing else to say, really...Adam's post was not false, it just doesn't tell the whole story.

Patten's knee is fine now so no matter when he was having issues last season according to any MD or Injury report he has no excuses......

( unless he gets hurt again ) Then he's gone anyways........

I can't see Patten holding a #2 spot over both Brandon AND A.R.E.

Someone is gonna take it.....
