What was that truth again?
You wouldn't recognize it - concerning the Cowboys - if it hit you over the head with a hammer.

We have also won our fair shake of games on fluke plays this year, it all evens out in the wash.

Started to think about this, and I can't really think of any.

Maybe I'm wrong. And maybe we'll in fact win some in the next four games that rely on fluke plays. But I can't think of any fluke that catapulted us to a victory yet this year.

That is awesome, but I want to see what was said after that. I wonder when it airs and where?

Let's finally see some backbone from someone on this team! Maybe the attitude just might catch on, because I have not seen much like this lately.

It should air on Sunday morning, Dec. 13, at 9:30 am, TXA 21. That was from the Keith Brookings Show which is taped on Tuesdays night in Arlington.

Mostly because I am sick to death of our French fans. I would hate to go to war with some of the people here. I would hate to have to play a game with some of the people here. Beyond worthless.

Don't live in the past like Keith Brooking in effect stated to Steve Dennis. :wink2:

I just found my next jersey. What a stud. That guy rules. Thanks theebs.

Bottom line the players do respect Wade, fans can go jump off a bridge for all I care the only people who matter are those men in the locker room.

Great video. If the Boys do in fact go down again this December, they will go down swinging. 10 wins gets the 6th seed, 11 wins gets the divison and 9 wins gets us.......

:explode:

 @ this whole thread.

The Cowboys throw up that stinkbomb and people here refuse to believe this year is anything, but different. If the Cowboys are 0-4 going into the Philadelphia game with a chance to make playoffs, there will still be people here proclaiming they're going to do something besides get run off the field. The homerism here is just reaching sickening levels. I've said this a million times, it doesn't make you any less of a fan to see things the way they really are. As of December 9th 2009, the wheels are coming off. It's just a shame folks here have to shout down people who are staring reality in the face.

I wish some of our fans had his heart.

Your missing the point Hostile, the way Brooking said hell crap etc, thats what we want to hear, we dont want to hear that wade is covering for the players or not holding them accountable. Hope was ok to post this stuff what brooking said, because thats what wade needs to say sometimes when he is talking to the media.

We dont want excuses or everything is ok, and wait and wait to fix things. Remember the kicking issue that has been going on with folk Hostile? This has been going on for about 10 weeeks or so, since his first miss.

We dont want excuses or wade telling the players after the bus ride back from the giants loss to the airplane, everything is ok, dont worry. Need I remind you a player texted SOS to a writer i believe. And that person asked the player what does SOS mean?

Player said same old stuff! Did you listen to DC Fanatics show the other night?

We dont want the same old stuff, we want to know that wade is chewing on the players, the coaches, holding them accountable.

This is what I think. Do you remember when when writer asked wade about crying and wade said some coaches do that like vermeil, and it works for him, but thats not wade. Bull Corn!

Everyone gets mad, upset, cries and hates to lose. Do you remember the eagle loss last year when they killed us and wade didnt have a final meeting wiht the players but said changes are coming. Wade didnt have that final meeting because he probably was ticked off, angry, emotions built up.

what happened in 1965 Hostile with Tom Landry and the Cowboys, stone face Landry cried in front of the players and told them, I did all I know how to do to get you to play and win. The players said that was what unified them as a team right there. If you watched the sidelines right after the Giants went up on us 41-10 right before the half, wade was stomping up and down the sideline looking angry. Did he let it out on the sidelines, did he let it out in the lockerroom.

did he let it out after the game, No, I dont think so because players said, wade said SOS, same old thing, everything is ok, dont worry players. Wade is trying to be too composure and in control with the team etc.

Sometimes you have to let it out, and chew out whoever you have too.

I think that is what is needed on this team with the Cowboys and wade!

Why does it matter what Wade says to the press? Fans do not play for this team the media does not play for this team the players do they are what matter not fans or media perception. What takes place at Valley Ranch is between Wade and his players.

I have heard non-sense over and over that players do not respect him and that is BS. In the end it will still come down to this team winning and doing good in post season for Wade to keep his job but what some perceive and what is reality is not always one and the same.

Wade is not going to rant and rave and he is not going to throw players under the bus he will take the heat in order to avoid throwing players under the bus however that does not mean when he is confronting the players himself that he is not holding them accountable to the team.

I am one of the few people who will know what that means. Post of the day.

Wondered if anyone else caught that ---and by the way I agree

Just jumping in here on that one. One UNNAMED player supposedly texted that to a writer. Was it made up? Don't know.

And I would never assume that the Wade Phillips you see in front of the media is the same Wade Phillips behind closed doors.

This is spot on.

This all may be true.

However, hearing Terence Newman on ESPN First Take earlier this year saying there was no "Accountability" among the coaching staff does refute the claim that players and coaches are being held accountable.

Then you have supposed Text Messages sent by a player to a member of the media after the Giants game saying it was the Same old same old from Wade Phillips.

IMO, 2 players on this roster have given Wade Phillips the opportunity to send a message and actually hold players accountable like Tom Coughlin was doing with Osi Umenyiora last game by benching him.

Terence Newman shoving his position coach and Flozell Adams either constantly jumping off sides, tripping people or shoving people, for which he was just fined for.

Benching those players for a quarter or more would have sent a decent message that players will be held accountable.

Nobody on this team is afraid to lose their playing time. And as Michael Irvin always says, taking away someone's playing time is the best way to modify their behavior.

i would say that using a nation of people as a description for something you don't like is racist.
using the word american to describe obese people would be unacceptable and in my opinion racist, same with irish for stupid people or scottish for drunks. you're making a stereotype based on nationality which considering you were talking the other day about trying not to offend people i found surprising.
