If you want to be an NFL HC, NFL coordinator experience is far better than college HC experience. Of the current NFL head coaches, how many were hired from college jobs? Kingsbury, Carroll (also extensive NFL creds earlier), Rhule ... that's pretty much it. How many were coordinators? Nearly all others. Boise State is the kind of job he should take if the NFL HC stuff never happens. Boise will always be there but a return to the NFL would likely be a return as QB coach or OC rather than HC.

I am fine with this. Was on the fence, leaning more for him to go because of the trying to be too cute type plays that cost us. Just eliminate that.
But I won’t harp on it like others do with certain players.
