They've wasted time on guys who couldn't play for years and years and years. Their record of futility behind Romo was record-setting. Some want to quickly forget.

Seriously, how can you claim to know this? Moore has been in the Dallas system and is clearly a Linehan guy, every team in the league knew he was going to resign in Dallas for the minimum.

Some teams already had their backups set, others wanted to draft players for that spot. That leaves 10 -15 teams that would be in the market. Plenty of those teams would want to try to develop the guys they have with physical skills instead of outbidding Dallas for a bus driver type.

But you make it sound like 32 GMs followed Moore home and beat him up.

There are about 20 guys on planet Earth that can play NFL quarterback at an average to above average level. Almost every quarterback drafted turns into a bust. They are impossible to find.

This is the case for every team. Two or three teams have a legitimate backup QB that can step in and win games. That's it.

This must be your first NFL season.
