If MM don’t know the Offense then he is the only one. Just ask our opponents. They all know it. Was hoping for a change in Offense to shake things up.. Maybe he will let MM flop so Quinn can have the HC job. Peyton is gone.

"It is also being reported that MM is not changing the offense, but will call plays. Since Prescott is too expensive to move this next year, maybe Jerry doesn't really have high expectations this season."

Where's the link? If no link, this is pure heresay.
This was reported on Sunday by the Dallas Morning News and David Moore who broke the story

Where is it said anywhere with confirmation and not conjecture that mm isn’t changing the offense next year ? I’d love to see that. Reality is he probably takes a lot of what worked, sprinkles in things he likes and then adds as well

Moore was ruining his own chances of becoming a head coach by calling consecutive pass plays on short yardage situations despite having success on the ground.

There's a reason NOBODY asked him to be a head coach anywhere but maybe his school. I'm glad alien boy is gone and wish him all the best.

As a matter of fact, why didn't YOUR favorite team reach out for his services???
The truth is he's just too young and raw. A few young HC's have paid their dues....in successful systems. He has not and we are not. Then there's some very head scratching decisions, like getting out of a working run game for his NCAA Mountain West passing game. Running three straight delay handoffs up the middle then claiming the run game ain't working.

I'm much like when JG left....for better or worse...I'm glad. We need to shake it up. Now MM gets to pick his own OC....we hope.

If Moore doesn't succeed with Herbert the way y'all are drooling over him, we will come back to this down the road

Oh...well okay. Thought we could try to be civil. I even gave you a "I can beat people up" compliment. And you actually think I tried to challenge you? LOL....Where did you learn THIS snowflake stuff from?

Well okay...I guess we are eternal enemies and never able to josh around and have fun...ever. Funny how you back your OWN self into corners. It doesn't matter who can beat who up...still a prisoner of it.

Bad bad Leroy Brown.

According to what’s been reported he wanted out. Prior to this post it was reported they mutually parted ways. Everyone else’s contracts either expired or they were fired. Those were the reports.
right what i’m saying though is since it was a lateral move if they wanted to hold on to him they would have

If Justin Herbert doesn't succeed with Kellen Moore to the point of being able to advance past the first round, then this forum is going to have a difficult time deciding who to blame more. Since everyone is now pushing the narrative of Kellen Moore not being the problem at all and Dak was the sole issue with the Cowboys shortcomings on offense, while Justin Herbert is the way better QB who is going to be leading the number one offense next season and also will be going to the Super Bowl now that Kellen Moore is his OC.

WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT JERRY DID behind the scenes or under the table w/Moore….just a bunch of speculation & gossip that doesn’t even matter now. Who the F Cares. He’s Gone. Too late to rethink that one. Let the SUPER BOWL OR BUST EXPERIMENT BEGIN!!! All the fans on here that wanted Moore GONE at any price got their WISH. AND NO They’re not going to run the same offense. McCarthy will run a West Coast Offense…CORRECTION…Probably A version of the West Coast Offense.
FYI: West Coast Offense is a Pass Pass Pass Offense….Whoopi!! Our running back is done anyway.
Get ready Offense you’re gonna have to learn A NEW OFFENSE!! New Terminology! New Playbook!
Maybe Mikes offense will include some running plays. RUNNING not plodding Mike.
Our players are gonna need more than talent….they’re gonna need some brains to learn an entirely new offense by September.
This is probably gonna end up somewhere between “Be Careful What You Wish For” & “Hallelujah We’re Back”.
There’s just a lot of places to land between those two.

There were plenty of expiring contracts, but what is clear is, if Jerry fired Moore, he would still owe him money for his final year. The fact that the Chargers requested an interview a week prior to even announcing his hire, while Moore has connections to Herbert and LVE through some commercials in Idaho seems to support this position. This request by the Chargers also PRECEDED Dallas announcing it won't renew any expiring contracts, including Joe Philbin. Coupled with the fact, as @NotForLong pointed out, Jerry owns the rights to box seats for the Chargers, it all points to a move on Kellen Moore' part.

It is also being reported that MM is not changing the offense, but will call plays. Since Prescott is too expensive to move this next year, maybe Jerry doesn't really have high expectations this season.
If the Cowboys really wanted Moore back as the OC he would be back. If it was Moore's decision it likely would only because the Cowboys were taking away responsibilities and he didn't want to do that.

Who is ready for DQ to take over as head coach in 2024? I think the job has already been promised to him if MM fails
I believe the same thing. It’s not out of the realm of possibility Quinn just likes it with Dallas but I can’t shake the feeling he’s playing the long game with Jerry’s wink wink.
