I don't know what more could possibly be said. As long as we are mathematically alive I guess they think Matt Cassel is the answer. It's so far beyond being comical anymore. It's just plain stupid not to give him a shot.
The only reason why.... I can come up with why he hasn't been give his shot by now....is what if he did win? Jerry sure would be opening himself up to be questioned. And we can't have that....now can we?
Just imagine...Jerry shoves a career backup into the lap of a coaching staff...tells them to get him ready in 3 weeks. Players goes 0-4........then gives the the 3rd string Moore (after being mathematically eliminated) his shot...only to run the table...yet fall short of playoffs.
That would just prove everyone's point..........they just don't know what they are doing @ the QB position.
