When I saw that catch , I saw alittle terry glenn in him . Just very graceful... I believe he will be the 3 wr next season in the slot.Make him a Steve smith NY, Or wes welker type. Not sure what's going to happen with Crayton, but I think it's obvious this olgetree kid is going to be pretty good.

Also he's got really good speed. Wow..the Cowboy's scouting department might have just found another Fa Jem.

Never going to happen, Roy Williams makes too much money and we gave up a lot to get him.

At best, Garrett has to find creative ways to get Kevin Olgetree on the field.

Did you see the way Ogletree pushed that cb and turned him around? There were packages where he replaced RW. Get this kid on the field more. He makes plays and can extend the field.

A couple of late season surprises, although Otree was showing his stuff earlier. How about John Phillips? Bennett had better pay attention, or he'll be the third TE, coming in on special team plays.

I think a "start Roy vs. start Ogletree" poll should be made.

That was one of the nastiest catches I've ever seen. Anyone have a .gif of it?

Personally I think he's done enough with the opportunities given to him to warrant getting Roy's spot in the starting lineup. Like someone's mentioned, the investment in Roy is probably the only reason he's still starting.

Man, I don't get it.:banghead:
Just because we screwed the pooch on R.Williams and paid alot of $$ for him and gave up draft picks is no reason to play him if he isn't performing.

I have to put this in a different perspective.

I play in many golf tourny's every year. They cost me $75- $125.00 for each tourny.

After golf they have a dinner . Sometimes I would rather go home and spend some family time and cook out with the family, so I leave after golf.

My wife says ,"You paid all that $$ and didn't stay for the dinner , what a waste.

I tell her Why should I stay and do something I don't enjoy just because I paid for it, when I'd rather be somewhere else.

It doesn't make sense.

No matter what we paid or gave up for him it's totally dumb to play him if he doesn't produce.

Man,:bang2: I just don't get.

You have to remember that the Owner of the team is also the GM.

I just don't think Jerry Jones will allow the Coaching Staff to give up on the Roy Williams Project this early in the trade.

Just won't happen.

Now it is up to Jason Garrett to find ways to get Kevin Ogletree on field.

As I stated several times, the only good thing about the Roy Williams Trade was that it allowed Jerry Jones to get rid of Terrell Owens.

We just have to hope that Roy Williams is able to turnt he light switch on. Teams will become a lot more aggressive in stopping Miles Austin and that will present opportunities for Roy Williams.

I like what I see out of Olgetree is well and I think he will see more time but not ready to get rid of RW. Why cut ourselfs thin at WR?

It was a great catch, but what was nasty was the move he made on the DB. Who remembers the short TD catch he made in preseason (forget who against). The kid just gets open. With he and Austin we have a couple of WR who can really make plays after they catch the ball.

OK, But until that time don't put him on the field if he's not producing or reliable.

Again I agree. I wouldn't trade him right away ,just sit him and play Oletree in his place for awhile.

Miles Austin was a project.

Roy Williams is a former first round, supposed #1 receiver right out of the box...but in actuality, he's been an underachieving, over-hyped, poor investment.

There should have been minimal transition. That has not been the case. He is clearly not the player Jones thought he was, and its probably about time for Jerry to put aside his ego and admit he screwed up. Jerry wants to win as badly as we want him to......playing the better players goes a long way towards that goal.

I'd still give him opportunities for the remainder of the season, but if he doesn't pick up his consistency, we should be looking for a way out.

I don't think RW is going to be sitting. I do think they will find ways to get Olgtree involved along with Austin, Crayton and RW. You may have noticed in the Saints game Hurd also made a good play for us.

Folks, I agree 100%, Roy Williams is not holding up his end of the bargain.

What I saying is that you have to take a realistic approach to this problem. Roy Williams is not going to be benched or have his playing time drastically reduced because we have way too much money and picks invested in him and I really believe Jerry Jones, mainly his ego will not allow the team to give up on the Roy Williams Project this early.

Oh, I don't care what anyone says, I think Roy Williams is probably the 3rd best receiver on this team.

Yes, I believe Patrick Crayton is better than Roy Williams.

I think this is the explanation I would've given.

Put a little different way - the person who controls personnel views the potential benefits of Williams doing something special in these final two games as outweighing the risk/potential costs of having him perform at the same level he has all season. And this is all subject to Williams' having so much money (and some draft picks) sunk into him. Were it a smaller amount of money, or if less was given up for him, perhaps a different decision would've been made by now.

That said, neat example Kaika. You sound like an economist, explaining to your wife your decision.

New Orleans is the roadmap for Garrett........they spread the ball around to a bevy of receivers---putting up points by the bucketloads.

Heck, when comparing to N.Orleans, we got room for another productive recvr yet........even after Ogletree:rolleyes:
