The lame excuse is your refusal to acknowledge reputable statistics that clearly affected this Offense on the field. Game after game after game the announcers would state how Dak was constantly under pressure, etc, but that's also some lame excuse on your behalf.
Dak was under pressure because he ran into pressure instead of stepping up. Dak is scared to step up because he gets happy feet and bails the pocket. Half his sacks were caused by him leaving the pocket and running into pressure. Dude has no pocket presence.

I haven't watched it so cannot comment. He normally does good stuff.

I saw so many times where the receivers would run straight downfield, get their bodies pointed in without any real cut, then try to flip themselves 180 degrees coming back to the QB to run an out.
What's up with that?
They're not really *breaking* inside to get the defender moving horizontally in before they try to break out. They're just pointing themselves in and back to kill all their momentum for the out.
They're just soft routes that put themselves in a bad position, not the defender.

So 10 times he ran into pressure? (Only sacked 20)

Figured he would run into a hell of a lot more....ya know...with no pocket presence.

After watching Joe Burrow go into a Buffalo snow storm missing three starting O Lineman and proceed to open a can on the Bills, these apology threads are both sad and hilarious. Great players meet the moment. I also seriously doubt he would make excuses if he lost.

Why don't you go follow another team? Dak is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Been a Cowboy fan my entire life. No plans to change

But I have to admit I'm greatly looking forward to the day this piece of trash QB is gone so I can have some genuine hope that things will get better

Until then I'll just grit my teeth and dream of better days.

Look at the tape. Watch the lazy routes. It’s not just Dak. It’s the whole concept. WR’s coach, TE coach on and on
Dak’s biggest issue is the inconsistency. Great one week. Not the next. I have been a big defender of his and I still think he can be good. The problem is his inconsistency now leads to picks. He used to be a good protector of the ball but he lost that this year. Calling for a pass play in the red zone on second and 2 is the height of coaching stupidity. Dak should work through that and be extra careful in that spot. He wasn’t. Careless throw. Now he owns this reputation. Fans do need to understand we are stuck with Dak for 2 years. They have to try and make it work. A new OC is the biggest need of the off season. Dak needs to take his medicine and be better.

Yah, what did you learn? That Dak sucks, Moore sucks and Lamb sucks?
It's not US that need's to learn, it's the 7 year veteran. The problem is we could remove Moore and/or Lamb and we'd STILL SUCK, there were OC's and WR's before (same result), the only constant is Dak. He's good but not good enough

Like when he threw for 300 yards and 5 TD's against the Bucs? Or when he lead the #1 scoring offense in the NFL 3 years in a row?

So what is Warners analysis of Dak? Lets hear this one. LOL
I just wish that Dak played as consistently as your post of continuing to praise him.

Then i would be behind him.

Funny how you always ignore the good games. Oh, that's right, that "POS" Dak is who you hate so much, you refuse to mention anything good he's done on the field.
You're really just pointing out and proving bi polar Dak exist.

He would do better with baseball and winning 4 out of 7 to win the world series than he does with the NFL that is sudden death one and done playoff format.

If you understood QB and football you would know thats most QB's. Dak was what 8-3? How many bad games did he have? You trolls just harp on bad ones and blow off the good ones like he is expected to do that. LOL

And then when playing the best defense in the NFL on the road you expect them all to come out and light the world on fire. Another prime example of how you dont understand football.

3 biggest games of the year was 2nd philly game, Bucs and Niners. Dak's 2 best games of the year were Philly and Bucs. Niners was a stinker against the #1 defense in football with his #1 weapon going down.

Just face the facts buddy. You dont truly understand QB play or football. Mahomes isnt walking through that door. Better get used to it.
It doesn't matter if he was 8-3 or 11-0. You can have bad plays here and there and still win a game. Dak is very inconsistant and the bad plays that he was making was going to catch up with him within time... That time happened to be against San Fran and it cost us the rest of the season.

A lot of it is scheme...yes. Sorry but the 49ers weren't fooled at all by the curl and comeback offense.

Ya Dak threw a pick 6 vs Phill that Sweat made a great play on. Then went unconscious the rest of the game to destroy Philly.

Washington isn't all on dak..there were 6 drops. It snowballed.
And Dallas defense wasn't fooled by anything the 49ers did, lol, people keep bringing up weapons and schemes like the 49ers scored 30 points on us. NEWSFLASH, they didn't, their offense struggled just as much as ours, only difference is their QB didn't make any dumb decisions. Purdy played like the vet, Dak played like the rookie

The tipped pick doesn’t happen if Dak realizes the DB is sitting in zone reading his eyes and jumping the pass.

The discussion about the LB catching the deflection is secondary. The pass never had a chance.
Wait, is CowboyRoy trying to excuse Dak's pick there claiming it was tipped?

Dak forced a ball into double coverage there. He should have never have even thrown the ball there.
