Has he ever played center? If so, I would like to see Holland beat him out at left guard and let Kosier be backup guard and backup center. I do not want Procter on this team next year.

Kosier has played every position on the line EXCEPT center. He is a lot better OL than people give him credit for. If Holland does beat him out at the guard spot we will surely keep him around because he can play so many different spots but we will still need a backup Center.

Like you I want to see Proctor gone...preferably to the Giants or Eagles.

I've long thought the same thing.

Kyle Kosier would make an excellent game day interior reserve if Montrae Holland gets serious and puts his best foot forward.

Kosier can play anywhere in a pinch and he already helps Andre Gurode with line calls during games.

I don't think he's played center in the past, just tackle and guard, but I think the pivot could be his best position and one he would learn with ease.

I'd rather have Kosier starting. He's the "brains" of the OL since Gurode is dumb as rocks.

From reading all the above posts, most people would gather that our coaches are not doing their job. From what I read Hudson Houch was supposed to be the best in the biz.
He was supposed to make this the top OL in the NFL last year.
Now, someone please tell my why Coach Houch couldn't get the job done last season, and why do we expect him to do a better job this year?

That's just cruel, dude. And very funny. Poor Proctor. :laugh2:

The line played pretty darn good until Kosier got hurt and Proctor got PT...Hence the question about KK's versitility...an effort to rid ourselves of the infamous Cory Proctor

Not to mention he can move better than anyone we have.

Lets not forget our LT playing with one arm and one leg

I'm predicting that Greg Isdaner gets moved to center during training camp and beats out Proctor.

Kosier when healthy is better than Holland.

Agreed. I dont understand all the man-love for Holland lately.

Kosier is a good linemen, especially for the price we're paying him.

I don't know why everyone is so anxious to put Kosier on the bench.

We haven't seen enough of Holland to know that.

We saw that it took him forever to take Proctor's job

Only because he can't start over Kosier when healthy.
