If Pitts ends up being like Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Shannon Sharpe, Tony Gonzalez..... would he be worth drafting at 10? Would he be worth giving up this years 1st and next years 3rd for him?
Depends. If they have a plan in place to upgrade the defensive talent along the way, maybe.
This team isn't a Pitts type talent from being really good. Pitts just makes the team what it already is......... heavily lopsided towards the offense.
So sure, take Pitts. But you better have a plan in place to upgrade the defensive talent and not rely on Quinn somehow turning chopped liver into a filet mignon. And if you go chasing Pitts in the Top 10 where you give up another premium pick this year or next year (or some combo of both years), then that's a mistake IMO. If you are going offense with your first round pick, you need all those 2nd and 3rd rounders to get some defensive help.
