Jerry does treat his players like family and I love that part of him. You don't get teared up over something that's just a business decision. Tears are the window to the soul.

It's fantastic when you have a team that people actually WANT to be here. He could have easily stayed in state and played with the Saints. I think this O-line is on a mission this year. Can't wait to see how they play.

Yep, great presser. From all 4 folks. These are the times when having an owner/gm really pays off. Great to hear about the team leadership getting involved too.

Collins' mother almost got me to go to church. :D

Very impressed with the way Collins handles himself. This kid wants to be here and it doesn't get any better than that.

He was going to be a top 10 pick in the draft and it's crazy that he is now wearing the star. He's got a mean streak that I can't wait to see on the field.

Welcome to Dallas!

God everything he says is straight out of Jason's philosophy he just says it with so much emotion. This is what me and you have been begging for from our players for so many years. It feels good man...

Yup, we were both tired of all the soft players we had. Now we have plenty of passionate players. Players like this can take the team a long way. We are getting an identity now. Gosh those soft teams of the past sucked. I remember how embarrasing it was to get pushed around by the Giants a few years back.

Collins has the potential to be a great leader on this team. I hope he is a Cowboy for a long time.

I really hope Stephen Jones carries this trait.

Its going to be tough. What Jerry has is unique. If this league was a recruiting, rather than a draft league, and if there were no salary cap, the Cowboys would win the SB every year, because Jerry has an off the charts ability to sell.

Collins had dinner with Rex. Then he sat down with Jerry and knew instantly he wanted to be a Cowboy.

I wonder if he already had his mind made up even while dining with Rex. Doubt it will ever come out.

I haven't seen so much emotion in a press conference since The Triplets retired. This was a sermon not a PC.

http://www.dallascowboys.com/video/2015/05/02/live-press-conference (Jerry gets emotional around the 10:35 mark)

I gotta tell ya...............I got goose pimples listening to that press conference. That kid is a baller. Just the type of nasty guy with an attitude that this line was missing. They have it all now. You just got a sense that something really special is happening. And for him to declare that they could be the best Oline of all time? Wow, that is some balls right there. Never seen Garrett so happy in all my life.

I can't imagine how we, as fans, and the Dallas Cowboys in general, could have possibly been more fortunate for the kind of an offseason that this became. The way things have developed have turned out to surely be an omen of great things to come. La'el is a fellow of great character who will, in all likelihood, make this team proud to have him in its fold. It's heart warming to see a player join us who shows so much character and desire. I'm betting we'll be smiling plenty in the future watching this draft class of 2015 distinguish themselves.

I agree but in the past that has also been a 2 edged sword with Jerry that he will hang on to long to a player past their production at a high cost. Recently that has not been the case as we have seen him part with Ware and Murray
