Lamb: Dak is very aggressive in new offense

Yes, or very close to. Dak is always pretty consistently near the top of the league in air yards.

The idea that Dak is a dink and dunk quarterback isn't based on any sense of reality.
Agreed. The numbers very very clearly indicate that Dak is best when throwing in the intermediate area of the field. 10-20 yards down field.

Dink and dunk, I honestly don’t know how anybody who watches the games could
Think that. Unless they’re drunk for every game…

It is like every soundbite this year is intended to morph all Dak Prescott critics into Audrey II.

"FEED ME!"

Or into Ezekiel Elliott (whoever is more hungry).

They see what they want to see lol.

2022 Average Intended Air Yards:

Josh Allen - 9.6
Lamar Jackson - 8.8
Dak Prescott - 8.3
Jalen Hurts - 8.3
Aaron Rodgers - 8.0
Trevor Lawrence - 7.5
Pat Mahomes - 7.5
Deshaun Watson - 7.4
Joe Burrow - 7.2
Tom Brady - 7.0
Justin Herbert - 6.7

Oddly enough, a more effective passing game that is better leveraged early in the game and on early downs can probably get them to the same number of carries as last year.
I’m not sure how much they’ll run Pollard as a lead back but I’d be shocked if they passed less.

..yep, hitting 30 means business. Translation- *Still havent won a championship, now the years are flying*

After 7 seasons...... :muttley: .........Expect the same dink and dunk garbage as anything longer is suicidal for us.
Keep him under 3rd and 4 and there's a chance.....
Yep the dreaded first down run between tackles for 1-2 yards need to be discarded

It's not about having a lead back. It's about being in third-and-short instead of constant third-and-long and also running the ball late in games to just work the clock.

You don't need Pollard for that.
