He is not Dez Bryant who averaged 17 and 19 ypc in college his last 2 years. James Washington could not get separation in the NFL vs NFL CBs. Jump Jump. All NFL WRs and DBs can Jump Jump. 39 inch is a good vertical. But that did not help him in the NFL with only one season above your mark of 14.0 ypc. No separation, has a little wiggle and is explosive running and jump balls. He is not a speed separating WR. That is proven by the slow short shuttle time. You went dumpster diving in Pittsburgh. You are what you are.My dude watch his highlights lol his average depth of target was 15 yards. That’s up there with the better deep threats in the league.
And do you watch Pittsburgh man? Ben could not throw down the field, they surrounded him with short area quickness guys. You know who led the team in targets Ben’s last year? Ray Ray freakin McCloud who caught more passes behind the line of scrimmage than any player in the league that year.
It’s not hard to understand why Pittsburg let him go. Washington does one thing and it’s get downfield, the Steelers don’t do one thing and it’s throw downfield. 1+1=2.
Don’t even know why you keep bringing up college? His ADOT is from the NFL. The highlights I linked are his NFL highlights. Just go watch his games man, most of his success was downfield passing and jump balls. Not sure why you keep ignoring the actual NFL tape he has lol. If you watch the tape and think him catching deep passes is him not catching deep passes then I don’t know what to tell you.
Just because he’s not Henry Ruggs doesn’t mean he’s not a deep threat. The facts are he’s a 14 yard per reception and a 15 yard ADOT guy in the NFL. Those are deep threat numbers simple and plain.
