New system, yes.

Attempt at correcting his throwing motion. Still looked very elongated.

Attempt at correcting his footwork. 3 step drop backs still looked like 1 and a half, the ball still did not come out on time.

Drop backs are timed with the break of the receiver so the ball can be released on time.

If you can't get your footwork done on time and also have an elongated throwing motion the timing is way off.

Maybe he only drops back 1 and half steps to make up time for is elongated throwing motion. However the ball still does not come out on time because can't read a defense, anticipate and throw a receiver open. He wants to wait until the WR is open before he decides to throw the ball.
You have no idea if he can read a defense or not.

How many complete games has he played? You skipped college and also jumped to starts. How much time has each QB had on the field?
He’s played enough games to where he should look better than he has if he was any good. This is his fourth NFL training camp.

That game was game planned for Grier to showcase him to other teams.
He was playing with a bunch of bubble players. We didn’t show anything in that game. It was the final preseason game. We were just trying to figure out our final roster cut down.

Lance is not the answser , but jerry will probably keep him as a 3rd QB to avoid the embarrassment of losing a 4th rounder on this bust of a QB. Why would Jerry think lance is a good QB if one of the best QB coaches ( Shanahan ) gave up on him so quickly. Jerry and co. trying to outsmart the league experts , again. Remember the Quincy disasster with Jerry ? among others.

Until the cowboys draft or deal for a real QB, they will still be trying to replace Aikman and to some extent Romo whom they lucked into.

I guess you think running around behind the line of scrimmage until someone gets open is reading a defense. If you watch Rush the ball comes out after he drops back.

Sure let's not factor in the great catches they made on his horrible passes. 1 WR almost had his kneck broke after getting flipped upside down and landing on his head.
Guess you never seen the dak and cd connection across the middle before.

He was running around because he had no protection from the OL.
Rush had time, and missed his target by 10 yards in the end zone. Lucky it was not picked.

But you will See what negative you want to see, even if enhanced.

How come the OLine graded out pretty well???

If the ball comes out immediately after you drop back it is very difficult to get pressure on a QB.

Did you watch the game? Seems they were pushed back in many passing situations.
Individual grades or team grades.

He's a one read QB at this point. Hopefully with reps he can see the field but I am not holding my breath.

I've never seen a franchise QB lose his #1 receiver 5 minutes into a playoff game. But Dak managed to do it with his obvious fear and deer in headlights look.

Exactly................It is not that people have a problem moving on from Dak, but they want a replacement that is equal or even better.

You want to replace Dak, its simple, present us with a new QB that is equal or better than what we have in Dak.............tossing out a QB that has won 36 games the last 3 years for some scrubs is unacceptable to the fan base.
They should be drafting QBs looking for replacement talent. Other teams do that, why don't we? Too bad we don't have a smarter GM.

He was a 4th overall pick who was beat out by the last pick in the draft. He’s exactly who he is.
3rd overall.

Mr. Phenom Trance was sacked out of SF by Mr. Irrelevant Purdy.

That has to become a movie some day.

Has the potential to be better than Rudy.
