Can't wait to see him play. Even if it's only preseason.

Hopefully it will answer the question everyone is asking - Can he or can't he play in this league?
I really think that alot of fans would not be upset going 6-11 with him at this point VS Dak going one and out.

THIS!! OMG, this!

The faults of Lance aren't physical. It's knowledge and experience. If he wants to get the experience, he has to absorb and display the knowledge.

I don’t think a pic in front of a monitor is going to garner much attention, so pictures of working out gets the chatter going. Doesn’t mean the latter isn’t happening though. Personally I’d like to see pics and videos of him working on his footwork and accuracy.

While commendable, I hope this young man is studying film even longer and harder.

I doubt that.

Ask JimmyG about Lance.

Lance took his job.

And that was after breaking his throwing hand the season before.
There was never a competition between Lance and Jimmy G. The 49ers made the decision the day they drafted Lance that he was their future QB. Jimmy G started during Lance’s rookie year because Lance wasn’t ready but SF moved on from Jimmy G prior to camp the following year. SF made it clear heading into the 2022 season it was Lance’s job. SF invested too much in Lance to stay with Jimmy G.

To be fair, he was terrible with SF already. It's not like he is a complete unknown that has never taken an NFL snap. This is now his 4th year in the league and has gained no real traction to solidify his draft position. He got beat out by the very last pick in the draft. In a system designed to prop up and hide the weaknesses of average to below average QBs and make them look good. He couldn't even thrive in that setup.

He got beat out because of injury.
Dak was not a better qb than tony. Still got ditched.

I agree.... but I live in Norcal and have watched him. Up to the point he was traded, he was not good.

In any event, I am so torn on the Dak thing. I really have no faith in him, but I know if we get rid of him and dont hit at the qb position... we will be the Jets for the foreseeable future.

I was never in favor of leaving Dak in over Romo... but Dak wont how many games in a row? Had Lance won like 85% of his games when he was injured, he would have never lost his job.
