are you talking about wins against teams that had a winning record at the time...I think that gets too over complicated... but actually he had 2 in 2019. he had 4 in 2018......

and how do you define a good team...the general approach has been teams with a winning record.....9-7 rams are they good, are they not is quite subjectie...

would I like to see more? yes, but 2019 was a strange year. on paper that was a good defense although some of the stats were misleading.....but the whole atmosphere in dallas was strange. a whole coaching staff on a do or die year. garrett at the helm, with moore being forced on him as a first year OC and a coach with one year of experience. coaching staff fighting on the side line, players just shutting out garrett as he started to call them out....never seen the likes of it....Jones knew he was going to let Garrett go. but was he trying to save money for not firing him after 2018? did he not want to rock the boat and play fantasy football?....very weird year.

like I said, I never look at these in a vaccum...compare it to the rest of the league. right now there are only 4 QBs with above .500 record against teams with a winning record....that's it....

but I am neither a dak fan, or detractor or basher. I have criticized him enough over the years. for the cowboys, he is the best choice to give us a chance, give nobody has been able to provide a viable option that can logically be explained as a good choice. if tomorrow you tell me and logically show how Denucci is a better option, then I would say lets go with DeNucci.....until then he is the best chance cowboys have...

and with all said and done, every front office, most analysts and former players agree that he is a top 10 QB in the NFL....this board's comments not withstanding given they all claim to know more....

Just curious, which 2 would you count in 2019.. I can see the Rams in some way but who is the other?

Giants x 2
Washington X 2
Philly 1
Detroit
Rams
Miami

Those were the teams we beat in 2019 - No one in our division could have been considered good that year. My guess is you saying Philly but that's a stretch IMO

Yeah, watching the games matter McFly.
This reminds me of something out of the past.

The biggest scumbag I ever had to work with/around used to call people McFly.

The interesting part is that he was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. It was purely for self-promotional purposes, though. His sole interest was to elevate himself at the expense of others. He was the most useless person on the crew.

I watched a guy lead us in the wrong direction because he held his rifle in the crook of his arm while holding his compass in his hand, right next to his rifle barrel. It didn't take long for him to figure out something wasn't right. Then he blamed it on the compass.
Must've been Army or butter bar LOL. I kid, I kid.

Pretty much every starting QB is the last player off the field and they work on throwing the ball in their spare time.

Another pointless, embarrassing thread. It's the equivalent of posting that man landed on the moon.

Well if you question whether watching the games matter in forming an opinion about the QB then you warrant the remark.

Of course not.

That's a silly way to look at it. Coaches do not watch each and every minute of every games of their opponent each week. They watch cut ups - highlights basically - and coaches film but they do not watch 50 hours of games, that is what quality control coaches do, they make cut ups for the coaches and players (1 of the things they do). if you know what you are watching and what you are looking for, of course you can form an opinion without watching every single minute of every single game.

I do not know what or how anyone get's their opinion of a player but I don't think it should be discounted because they use a different method than you or I do.

You're actually serious aren't you? I'm not going to argue that coaches who watch game film, not TV film, repeatedly, over and over , is the same as a couch potato not watching ANYTHING but ESPN highlights or some other youtube hightligts with comments is the same. You're really looking silly here. It's entertaining though.

There's a ton of independent vids out there...recaps assessments, stats and opinions. Just saying

There is......but he said nothing about watching that...he simply said "highlights"....so I'm left to assume he's watching the NFL posted clips posted by the NFL that Youtube allows to stay up.

Is Dak's throwing motion different on 'game film" then on youtube highlights? Does the OL player block differently on the "game film" than on the youtube video? If I take the coaches film and back it up over and over again to watch a players footwork, would that be different than taking the same you tube video and doing the same thing? I get it, you think someone HAS to watch a game to form an opinion. I disagree. I think in today's world there are many different ways to get the same information. Just because you are stuck in 1983 doesn't mean everyone is.

And not for nothing but if all someone watched where the highlights of Dak, they would love him, it's the plays that don't make the highlight reels that tell the full story.
