I thought that is where you were at. I would disagree but that's just my opinion. they were 6-6 when we played them and beat them making them 6-7 and all but finished, then they went on the 3 game winning streak while we fell apart.

see, that's what I mean....if you want to do that, then we should do it for all QBs.....and it gets into a total mess....and records change over time depending on schedule, how things work out during the season, etc. too many variables. so we should look at the final record.

and in 2018 we had a similar outcome...first 5 games 3-5 and then we got hot and went on a 7-1 run....so when a team beat us first 8 games, did they beat a good team or bad team? its just too much spin.....and too many subjective views on this....

I don't know how anyone can dislike Dak. Sure. He has a few warts on the field but his work ethic and character are above and beyond.

Grown people with intellect has publicly disagreed with your opinions of Dak though. If former and current NFL coaches, players, GMs and talent evaluators with intellect and has had adult dialogue about how good Dak really is thats in contrast to what you say about Dak....

It tends to expose that hater gene within you.

Geez, sure they can provide opinions but those opinions are weak, and based on a partial view of the overall picture. Unbelievable that you read a couple stats, watch highlights and then PRETEND to know what the hell you are talking about.


EDIT: you know what, I'm sorry. I didn't have to be rude about it. I apologize for that much. I do believe there is a lot more to a game than highlights and boxscores though. I'm also tired of politics and the divide and conquer mentality. We should all want the same things, but it gets twisted by politicians imo.

No worries but the divide was just done by yourself by calling my position weak simply because I do not watch the games any longer but instead choose to watch highlights, check out stats, and read information by those with more knowledge than myself in the game before formulating a position.

That said, I watched the Cowboys every week up until a few years ago when the NFL became more about politics and social awareness than focusing on a great sport....hence the drop in ratings. So to presume I have no knowledge because I stopped watching the last few years is an error in judgment by many on here but they can think what they wish as my opinion is no less than anyone else's on here and that is what is supposed to make a good forum but alas there are those that wish to silent the voices of any member that does not 'think' like them or spew the Dallas love like them.

So long as I am in this group I will remain a free thinker and express my position just like anyone else regardless if they 'feel' I have 'earned' that right or not based solely on watching a total of 51 hours of football in over 4 months.

It's just that Hard Knocks crap. They need some film of Dak getting ready to win the comeback player of the year.

He actually should have been the first player in the locker room getting some treatment. We all know he is a hard worker...he should be the first player in the ice tub...

I suggest the mods create a Dak Prescott forum as the number of pointless threads created about him on a daily basis antagonises people from both sides of the fence.

Obviously there are some threads about him that need to be discussed. But threads like this are just so pointless. What will it be tomorrow, the diet he has...

I think part of the problem are threads like this being created on a daily basis in the main forum and this needs to be addressed.

The bigger question is why does it matter. There are a million ways to get information these days. Just because someone chooses a different method than you would or like, it doesn't negate their ability to form an opinion or express their opinion.

It most definitely does.....how in the hell can someone tell me someone is a bad player when they've never seen him play? How can I sit here and tell a Texas Rangers fan that Joey Gallo sucked when I don't even watch them? And I know the only people defending this type of ****ery are people who also don't watch them play....you can tell by some of the outlandish stuff you guys say that you don't watch games and just regurgitate what you hear someone else says.
