With Washington's QB situation and with all they gave up for RG3 they almost have to stick with him for at least another year. Cousins had his chance and flopped and McCoy isn't the answer.

If he doesn't perform the rest of this season he wont be starting next year. Even Snyder isn't that stupid.

Who's Washington going to replace him with? Cousins is productive but a turnover machine who can't win games. He blew a golden opportunity to be the guy. McCoy had a great game against the Cowboys but practically every journeymen QB has a great game against them. McCoy isn't the answer and although RG3 is flaming out at about the same rate Vince Young did Washington gave up too much for him to move on after only 3 seasons. I still expect him to be their starter until they find someone better. All they can do is hope he improves because they're in no position to draft a sure replacement for him. They'll be stuck bringing in castoffs next summer to compete with him.

Well, that's not exactly the epitome of productive. :)

Shanny ruined this kid and they know it. Gruden don't care what Snyder thinks, he's arrogant. Cost wise your right but not if they want to improve.

The Commanders are in total disarray - both on and off the field. If we weren't division rivals, I'd feel bad for their continual incompetence.

Favre was a turnover machine but was productive. However he could win games because he was so productive he could make up for a lot of his mistakes. Eli is a turnover machine always has been but he has 2 SB wins.

RG3 was named rookie of the year under Shanahan. His knee injury from his reckless style is what ruined him. He hasn't been the same player since that injury. Even before he injured his knee he didn't know how avoid big hits which led to the injury. Elway did just fine under Shanahan.

Plus Eli is elite and a two time MVP. His carried his team to those two SB's.

They were in total disarray when the Cowboys played them. They were 2-5 playing with their 3rd string QB who was kicked to the curb by Cleveland in favor of Brandon Weeden. Knowing the Cowboys they'll need that week 17 game against Washington to make the playoffs and allow a declining RG3 to have a career game against them. RG3's 4 TD pass game vs the Cowboys on Thanksgiving his rookie year was his career high.

Shanahan allowing him to play injured screwed him. He was injured pretty bad and a rook. He should have made him sit no matter who wanted him to play.
