Because they're hanging in there with the 49ers.

Irrelevant. They aren't hanging in there because of his 93 yards and no TDs heading into the 4th quarter. Obviously there is no point in benching him this game, but I don't see the sense in playing him going forward.

last year the NFC was much better than the AFC, it seemed. This year, it looks like the opposite.

Shanny ruined this kid and they know it. Gruden don't care what Snyder thinks, he's arrogant. Cost wise your right but not if they want to improve.

Shanahan... Good god man.

RG3 was named rookie of the year under Shanahan. His knee injury from his reckless style is what ruined him. He hasn't been the same player since that injury. Even before he injured his knee he didn't know how avoid big hits which led to the injury. Elway did just fine under Shanahan.

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
....... And. Yes.

Wish we could have played this Niner team instead of in week 1.

You could see with your own eyes he was messed up. Some times a coach has to make a call dude. We can argue all night.

It's easy to say that now with RG3's career going down the drain. He won an elimination game vs the Cowboys with that knee injury. Washington was in a tough situation battling for the division title late in the 2012 season and it was his play that put them in that position. If a QB can play and is being "cleared" to play by the team doctors you play them. Any team/HC would have done the same thing with their season on the line. Romo should have sat during the JAX game it would have been the smart move but he was cleared to play and the Cowboys needed the win so they played him.

If the Cardinals don't change things up they may be forced to play Logan Thomas the rest of the season. Stanton is getting beat up.

I'm not so sure we didn't. The Niners weren't exactly looking like world beaters during the preseason they were having offensive issues. The Cowboys turned the ball over 4 times which helped cost them that game. The Cowboys outscored SF 14-0 in the second half. I posted immediately after that game saying I didn't think SF was that great a team.

He was terrible in that game (elimination games is a stupid stat btw). If you single out a player for winning that game, it should be Morris.

we actually did. We were just too busy handing them the ball and doing dumb stuff in the red zone.

Yeah we just beat ourselves but I also look at that game as a blessing because we learned that the best way for this team to be successful is to be more balanced and rely on the running game.

Wildcard-wise, having the Niners lose today isn't the worse thing. Wish it wasn't the Skins, but we probably need to outweigh the scenarios vs. the rivalries.
