New England is very impressive how they can turn on and turn off the run game at will in-game.

Blount is not an especially skilled back. Good, but not great. They seem like they play rope a dope with the run game.

I understand longevity means a lot as it should, but career records dont decide who's the best for me. It's who dominates at their position in a way that had not been seen before and for the TE position, that's been Gronk.

And that is why I liked your opinion along with quite a few others. My opinion is Gonzalez is still the GOAT until proven otherwise. I truly hope Witten with his longevity or Gronk with his amazing play thus far gets to compete for Gonzalez's records. I root for anyone to put up those stellar careers and resumes.

I think the argument being made is about level of play. Gonz & others are saying when he's healthy & playing at his best, Gronk is better than he was.

A few years ago everyone was saying Jimmy Graham was the best TE in the game. Gronk is a great player but does anyone really believe he would be as good on another team with a QB other than Tom Brady? Gonzalez never had even close to a Tom Brady in KC or close to the talent around him that Gronk has had in NE. These are all things you have to look at when judging these players. Right now Gronk is by far the best TE in the game but his numbers are still way behind Gonzalez who never caught a pass from Tom Brady.
