Sure. I don't think anybody is denying that.

But a large part of what ruined Mike was he had zero trainers. He also hired a tax attorney for Tyson's rape case.

I just don't see Roc Nation forcing the Cowboys to hire their coaches and if Dez getting in trouble with the law, hiring a tax attorney to defend him in a serious case like rape.

They very well could have told him that. Just interesting that he has released statements immediately after news of other such similar situations. Just is different is all.

I'm not sure about the offender being 25 or older, I'll look that up. But in illinois it does apply to small children. I had a case were the child was molested between the ages of 3-5. He didn't tell anyone about till he was 13 and he was told by the DA that he had the option to press charges until he was 27. So the offender had 22 years were he was vulnerable to being charged. The idea is most 5 yr olds can't stand up for themselves so there is a lot of leeway as far as allowing the child to grow up, process what happened and make an educated, adult decision to press charges. The likelihood of winning a case like that is slim but statute of limitations is 10 yrs after the age of consent. The only age issue for an offender is the romeo and juliet law that states if you are in a sexual relationship with someone and you're underage (17 or younger), it is not considered rape if your partner is within 2 years of age. So if a guy has a 16 year old girlfriend and he just turns 18 and the sex is consensual then he's not breaking any laws.

I still think there is a video but this makes it sound like its nothing earth shattering. Especially if no criminal charges or civil case resulted.
