ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter appeared on the Carmen and Jurko show on ESPN 100 in Chicago, and confirmed the rumored Dez Bryant video does exist.

When asked about what’s going to happen to Bryant, Schefter confirmed that a video exists and said it’s a story he’s been working on since September.

However, Schefter refused to comment on what the video actually contains and is not sure when it will be released, if ever.

Here’s the transcript:

Carmen and Jurko: What’s going on with Dez Bryant?

Adam Schefter: That’s a very interesting question. I’ll just say this – check back with me on that one.

Carmen and Jurko: Have you heard about this video? Do you know what’s on it?

Schefter: Yeah.

Carmen and Jurko: Have you seen it?

Schefter: I have not seen it.

Carmen and Jurko: Is he doing something criminal? Can you talk about it?

Schefter: I’ll say this: I’ve been working on this since September.

Carmen and Jurko: Is it criminal?

Schefter: Like I said I’ve been working on it since September. There’s a lot involved.

Carmen and Jurko: Is this going to come out?

Schefter: Don’t know. Don’t know yet.

Schefter: It’s taken up a lot of my time this season I’ll say that.

Carmen and Jurko: And you did it in a very clandestine way it sounds like. Did you feel like you had to?

Schefter: Well listen, whatever we’ve been working on is not ready and maybe it never will be. Who knows? You’ve got to be very careful on these things. People can talk about videos, they can talk about this they can talk about that. The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t mean anything and it’s really not fair to him right now until you have all your facts in line. Which we spent a long time trying to do.

I wouldn't call it confirmation since he hasn't seen any footage of the video. I guess it sounds better than "Schefter Confirms there is a rumored video."

He deleted it quick though. Maybe he was getting itchy? They told him to chill?

Makes you wonder, why delete it? Maybe he knew people would see it anyways, and just wanted to put something quick out there.

There is no doubt in my mind he has people moderating every thing he says right now. He would be foolish not to listen if this stuff is true or not.
He certainly shows sign's of being a hot head. Not that over this he doesn't have the right to be. He's still young and probably doesn't get the real world part of this.

He looks to be a rich kid that desperately wants to be in the rap game/music biz. He has set up Twitter accounts and websites that do have a lot of hits. He throws out rumors out there all the time and some end up true. But on this one it looks like he is straight making stuff up. Other people have said he is a complete fraud and have the proof to back it up.

With Dez in the news a lot with his contract the rumors have surfaced again
Terez Owen reported that the video is real and being shopped. He broke the JJones pictures last year in the bathroom. He offers no proof.
Adam Schefter was asked if heard the rumors and he said he had. he said has been working on the story since Sept and can't confirm anything. He hasn't seen any video or screencaps.

Late last night rumors spread that is was a Walmart surveillance video and an underage girl, again no confirmation
This kid Jaywan tweeted last night screencaps were being shopped to all media and he declined to purchase the video. He said TMZ was going to buy the video and drop it at noon.
Terez Owens ran Jaywan as a new source of info and also said video would drop soon
****spin, a sports website said they would been in on any bidding war, but they have not been contacted by anyone.
Dez just tweeted something about being betrayed, but immediately tried to delete it
