They can break through if things go their way with the new players and health.
I understand there is always a possibility. I just don’t see based on prior history how we can predict it . Time will tell.

Always amazes me how every HOF sports writer or top tier writer who doesn't put us in their top 3 are morons or haters to some of you. We are in the right spot and I don't think its all that bad ...

Seems more than fair. The entire AFC playoff bracket this year could be better than the Cowboys.
Yea

For a few years we were thankful to be in NFC Least. Now it’s practically the entire NFC which is so down the NFCE is a power within the conference . Wow

That is my all time favorite Team. Ive said it before, had Aikman not gotten concussed, they would have dropped 50 on the 49ers. They could not stop anything g they were doing. To me that team was the best as they were 0-2 and then proceeded to beat the brakes off everyone. They made SF look like a JV squad
If Jerry had handled the Emmitt situation properly that team goes 19-0. I have no doubts about that.

I can see double digit wins and they could break through. It's fun for me to watch no matter what happens. Just like it was when they broke through in the 70's and the 90's. I'd love it, if it happened again and I certainly believe that it could.

It was uncharted territory as I had only seen them lose to Pittsburgh then moved to DC to see them lose to Philly, SF and then the pain of Washington beating them at RFK. So to watch them win in such fashion was beyond. I was in my 20’s. I talked so much ***** for those years
I was in my early 20's as well. I think 22 or 23 in 1992. I was 25 when we last won a ring. I talked so much shiet 2 man..I luved it, every minute. We were so dang gd.

Remember from way back in the 70's and 80's ...Washington being on tv in a home game at RFK Stadium. If the team had a big lead and assured to getting the win...if the Cowboys were the next opponent, the fans would spent the entire 4th quarter chanting "WE WANT DALLAS"
RFK stadium would literally start shaking. Those fans hated Dallas. Good ole days.

and the American Express commercials during the games were classic. Landry, Danny White...luved em. RFK was awesome when Dallas was there.I agree.

exactly. Even til the SB, we weren't taken as legit as the Bills. Until we actually won the Big game. Then we were deemed legit.
Weren't the Cowboys like a 14+ point underdog heading into that game against the Bills.. The Mediots just KNEW they big bad Bills were going to pants the young Cowboys.

I'm thrilled the Cowboys are getting pushed aside. I hope the merch sales plummet and Jerry starts to see profits drop. This has been a long time coming.

Perhaps if this continues maybe Jerry will realize winning a SB will bring in the money!

No they don't because nothing could have stopped Emmitt from taking that helmet to the thigh on his first carry against ATL and then only making a cameo in the next game still limping with that deep thigh bruise. There GOING to lose those two games regardless if Emmitt played those first two losses .. meaning 14-2 (then 3-0) was the best we could hope for.

Peter King is an idiot and a hater. Always has been. Always will be. Sorry for sounding so ugly, but that guy is a bonafied Cowboys hater. I honestly don't understand why any Cowboys fan listens to that moron?

Hasn't been much to love though haha

Maybe not but the media has resented the Cowboys since NFL Films dubbed them "America's Team." People always act like the Cowboys called themselves that name even though it came from an outside source. It's also hilarious how they all fall all over themselves to have the games involving the Cowboys on their network and how they tease Cowboys-related stories on all of their talking head shows. The Cowboys are basically the meal ticket for 90% of the network sports shows out there and they know it. I don't consume a whole lot of their drivel because it's literally the same ole tired tropes over and over. But in fairness until the Cowboys win something.. none of this will change.. so it is what it is..
