Not recovered from lisfranc injury yet. Might as well sit him for the last 3 games and let someone else get the snaps. That would also ensure he doesn't reinjure his foot and make sure he is 100% next year.
He shouldn’t be on the roster next season.

Teams give physicals to any player they want to sign, if Lawrence has anything that would prevent him from playing, they'll find it out then.

He's just avoiding any possibility of another injury by sitting out, he doesn't have to play again this year...
I don't think it's about the physical. I think he'll want to get back before the end of the year to show that he's back for his next destination. Michael Gallup passed a physical a couple of years back when we gave him a new contract when he was coming off injury, but he clearly wasn't ready both physically and emotionally to return. Lots of players coming off injury are physically cleared but clearly don't play as well or lose a step. Lawrence will want to show that he's back and worth a nice final contract. Now, he doesn't need four games to do it and he doesn't need to rush and risk any kind of reinjury.

Dominant pass rushers make far more than DLaw does.
At the time he got his contract, that wasn't the case. But he'd put up some promising sack numbers that he was never able to match. Still, pressure numbers showed in most of those years, he was among the top pressure players. He's obviously slipped from that since then.

With Overshown's injury, I'd like to see him back out there ... especially with Micah possibly playing more linebacker for these last few games. But considering how this season has gone, I don't have a problem with Lawrence not coming back if he doesn't feel that he's ready or with Lawrence moving on to another team in the offseason.

I have nothing but respect for the player. He worked hard at his craft to become a quality NFL defensive end. He never had elite quickness of the snap, great size, etc., but he sculpted his body and refined his technique to have a very solid career that gets diminished by fans who only focus on sacks.

Of course, some of those same fans were badmouthing DeMarcus Ware before he left here and showed how valuable he could be to a team built to win a Super Bowl.

You guys turn your back on players quick as hell I’ll never forget how this fan base turned on Witten and Ware.
I never really cared for Lawrence. Good player, but not my favorite. Is that okay with you, or am I not allowed to like some players better than others?

And I never "turned" on Ware. Glad he was able to win a ring in Denver.

You are allowed to do what you want lol. Just my observation. You said you never liked him so it is what it is. I was speaking more so towards the fans that did but don’t now….or I guess you said you just like players better then him? I don’t know what’s going on lol.

They typically move on fine. They give their vets grace like most teams do. Law was good last season.
They are the worst team by far when it comes to moving on. They overpay their own guys and completely disregard outside FAs.

Well disregarding free agents is different they handle free agency terribly. Zeke is really the only one they should’ve moved on from but didn’t. Chido, Noah Brown, Taco…..if you aren’t a pro bowler they are moving on.
