disagree, in fact I don't even think MJ would dominate today's game. I think he was just ahead of his time. At his time there weren't many players as tall as him with his kind of athleticism. However, today its commonplace. Kobe, Lebron, KD all have noticeable height/length advantages. Lebron also has about 20 pounds more muscle and can play all five positions WELL. Lebron could easily score even more than he does but instead nearly averages triple doubles. People comparing his inability to win EVERY finals series he's made it to forget that it took MJ quite a while to get past the first round of the playoffs with probably a better team than Lebron just willed into the Finals, just like he did his first tour in Cleveland. I'm certainly no big fan of either, but to me Lebron is a superior player in a superior league.
As an added bonus, one could make a very convincing argument that the league was cheerleading (possibly even helping, i.e. see officiating) MJ and the Bulls win since it clearly made the league money like they had never before seen. Frankly, I think the entire league and game is tainted and I'm sad I pay attention to it, yet I cannot completely look away.
