Jeez, what a post. I bet you have Lebron tatooed on your body.

Again with the nonsense that addresses nothing to do with my post. I'm a Rockets fan, btw. I'm more likely to get a Dwight Howard tat than a Lebron tat and I HATE Dwight Howard.

Anywho, I was referring to the point that Tim Duncan never had a max salary during their championship runs. And when he was receiving max salary, they didn't win the championship. That backs up ABQ's point.

Anywho, Lebron is a "me first and only me" guy. He's likely to use his cell phone in movie theaters except he probably never goes to a real movie theater.

Woody is too much the Lady to respond to what is or is not on her body but I will just say that whatever it is or is not is none of our collective business and any further discussion of it will result in consequences you won't like.

The love for Lebron runs deep. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Birdman.....highly skilled......really? Who else was part of this HIGHLY SKILLED group? Mike Miller? Udanis Haslem? Mario Chalmers? Norris Cole?

I don't think there is anything wrong with what either player did, especially Ray Allen who at this point is a role player.

Birdman was revered up in denver for being an underrated defensive player/ rebound player. Clearly not the same echelon as the big 3, but considering his value as a ROLE player then it is quite high considering the circumstances.

He may be a role player but still, you have him as one of the best 3 point shooters in the game.

Lebron
Wade
Bosh

Allen/Birdman

Not many teams are deep enough to stop that..

Lebron is not a bad guy by any means, I just don't agree with his actions out of Cleveland. Sure he wanted out, but why do it in the worst way you could have?

Surely there had to be a better way than blindsiding your fanbase, then making a spectacle out of the "decision". Am i only one who remembers that goofy announcement when he joined the heat? I believe there was also dancing and it was just a gimmick.

This fanbase would burn down if Romo all up and sudden blindly leave his fanbase, make a show about the decision and then proceed to dance as he inducted as the next QB of the Seahawks. *unrealistic but making a point*.

See folks this is what happens when slapped with facts... You say, "So" and then close your eyes, put your fingers in your ear, and stick your virtual tongue out.

It's ok. We understand your position. No need to reiterate.

I thought it was quite obvious that Duncan's contract was very close to the max.

And that wasn't your argument. You said he played at max salary. But it wasn't close to the max. I provided the link to his salaries. He was a low-paid champion for a number of years.

I disagree. I think those numbers are close to the max.

The problem is you weren't arguing close to max. You said, he was playing AT max salary.

Specifically, here is what Timmy made in their championship years. Only ONE is even close to being considered a max salary.

1998-99 San Antonio Spurs NBA $3,413,000
2002-03 San Antonio Spurs NBA $12,072,500
2004-05 San Antonio Spurs NBA $14,260,641
2006-07 San Antonio Spurs NBA $17,429,672

And I leave you with this for future reference: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/duncati01.html#salaries::none

You'll never get anyone who covers basketball for a living to say at any point in his NBA career, Birdman was highly skilled. It's really laughable to even suggest that a guy who gets by on grit and energy, who started 10 career games in 12 NBA season is highly skilled. If you want to argue Ray Allen, fine whatever. He does one thing well at this point in his career, but it is something that takes a certain amount of skill, but Birdman has never been a highly skilled player.

Ok, so he wasn't maxed out. I'll still don't like LeCramp because of his me first mentality.

I don't think he blindsided the Cavs fan base in any way. It was obvious to anyone paying attention that he was leaving Cleveland. It was obvious for more than a year before he even became a free agent. He had plenty of chances to sign a new contract with the Cavs long before he became a free agent. Him not do so clearly indicated he wasn't coming back. I don't know why anyone would claim to be blindsided that he didn't return to the Cavs. Mr. Magoo could see that one coming.

I don't care if you understand it or not, it is what it is. And this wasn't college or high school, it was the nba, it was stupid to have a pep rally at that level, and much more so just for signing free agents not for winning anything yet

Translation: "I hate LeBron irrationally."

1. Using euphemisms for a person's name pretty much confirms an irrational bias.

2. "Me first" - lol. For the player that gets murdered in the media and the internet when he tries to find open teammates for better shots at the end of games when he's triple teamed. Okay.

When Lebron James first came into the league I had a "meh" attitude towards him. I wasn't a fan or a hater. I changed my mind during the Olympics; especially the last one. He flat out balled for the USA. It seemed like he gave his all for the team. I started enjoying his game a lot more after that.

He does get a lot of hate. There is no doubt about it. I actually disliked Kobe more than James many times and he played for the Lakers which is my favorite team.
