Overshown is not a MLB. Played Safety in HS and was recruited to college to play safety. Then moved to LB as a Junior. Never had more than 55 tackles in college.

He is a DQ LB. Still talented, but we need a Mike LB.

I’m hoping that the most disappointing loss in the franchises history was enough to wake up Jerry in realizing they need to be active in free agency in order to fix the weaknesses.

You would think, right? But like someone else mentioned, none of that can happen until they give Lamb and Dak extensions. That would open up a ton of money. But that has to happen first.

Why would you want to make any big decisons/moves, long term deals, if you will have an entirely new coaching staff next year?

I think we will be in a slow motion rebuild, while GM Jeruh tries to keep the Cowboys relevant.

None of us here know what Jerry plans to do. I can only go by what he usually does. Or what he will do to try and win this year and the next. What little chance it is. If he's not more aggressive in FA, it's not going to happen.

What does a new coaching staff have to do with big moves and decisions? Jerry and son are in control of signing players, who stays and who goes. No one tells them what to do. Any new coaching staff would have to grin and bear it.
