After he just ripped off a 54-yard run.

Funny how you leave out the context.

Meanwhile, Zeke was tapping his helmet to come off the field during warmups.
He said it the next day, that it was the game, not one run.
Zeke came out, because he was pulled out. And after about 12 plays any RB needs a play off.

But go ahead make crap up as usual about warmups. Invalidates your entire post(s).

He said it when he was tired after a long run.

At the end of the game he just iced with his 3rd TD.

So you take this to mean he is out of shape every game? Its just you using one moment to paint a bad picture of the RB you hate.

Do you really think if the game was close or in question he wouldnt be able to play?
Well we wont know that until it happens in a game this season. Maybe he is just too tired and Jones or Davis will finish the game. We will see.

Players get tired in games buddy. Thats all normal stuff. Especially after 45 yard TD runs. Thats why they rotate them in and out.

I recall Zeke motioning out plenty of times.

Why do you keep answering me but you’re scared to respond to my other question?

And you’re completely making it up about Pollard. Post the proof. Go ahead. Expose me.

He mentioned being winded after he ripped off that long run off.

Usually when I see you appear in responding to my post I know it's usually Zeke-bias related but whether plus or minus i won't detour from what I think of Zeke.

The Red Zone is scoring plus territory, when we desperately need points,....points decides and wins games,.. you cannot have your star players tapping out if not injury related.
taping out in scoring position .. that's what does not make sense.

If you have to regulate Zeke's playing time and breaks of rest, then coaches need to do that pre-game and team meetings, place him more in a position where he
cannot tap out in red zone situations.

You think Zeke would be doing that if he was playing for Jimmie or Parcells ?
No....I do not think he would do that under those coaches....because they would have already given him a breather before the goal line.

I think we do agree....the coaches are supposed to manage playing time. Are you positive they did that with Zeke?

A lot of you are going to be disappointed when you learn the hard way that Pollard is not going to be the long term solution at RB. Between the injury and being 26 years old, the Cowboys are not going to invest long-term money into a RB past the peak of his prime. If Pollard gets and stays healthy this season, he can still have a good season. But in all likelihood, he will be gone after this season.

1. Do you have confidence Pollard will be fine coming back from injury?

No, not immediately.

2. Do you believe he can carry the load as the RB1?

No, not completely.

3. How do you expect McCarthy to manage the RB Carrie’s with the current roster?

Pollard 60%. Everyone else 40%.

4. Predict his stats for the upcoming season

Pollard 1091 yards rushing. 9 TDS.

Nah, ya didn’t.

You ran off and acted like you weren’t going to engage anymore.

I asked you specifically what did Pollard do the next week after supposedly being “worn” down?

Let’s see if you try and squirm out of this one.

I would argue that Zeke didn’t do a good job to sustain his longevity in this league
I don’t know who could’ve took a beating he took. Maybe Earl Campbell nope, same thing happened to him

I gets the feeling the Cowboys are gonna just use Pollard this year as much as they can under the franchise tag and then let him go on his way next season. Not gonna pay big bucks to keep him even though right now he is the game breaker on this offense. They ain't planning to invest $10m--$12m a season on a RB with Diggs, Lamb and Parsons deals coming up.

I would have liked to have signed him up on a 3-4 year deal this offseason....but I get it.

You could be right.

They are also still paying for Zeke. 11.x million in dead cap, over 2023-24.

Could be true.

I think they have a few days left to work out a long term deal for Tony.

Otherwise, He’s gonna be UFA after the season.

The Dallas Cowboys will have to decide on several players' futures in the coming weeks and months. The expected first order of business is getting Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs signed before the end of training camp. That's easier said than done, but the Cowboys will actually have to come to a decision on Tony Pollard's future first.

A first-time Pro Bowler in 2022, Pollard signed his $10.09 million franchise tag back in March, which gave Dallas ample time to negotiate a possible extension.

While Pollard himself is adamant about wanting to sign a multi-year deal, there's (seemingly) been zero movement toward an agreement as we approach the make-or-break point of the offseason calendar.

Franchise-tagged players have until 4 p.m. ET on July 17 to sign an extension and NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN doesn't have high hopes that Pollard and the Cowboys will find a middle ground before Monday's deadline.

Graziano's reporting makes it suggest that the Cowboys are content with letting Pollard play out the 2023 season on the tag and reassess his future and the position next offseason.

That's a bold decision given there's no obvious successor waiting in the pipeline. At the same time, though, it's just has hard to push back considering the mess Dallas got itself in by placating to Ezekiel Elliott's contract demands.

While a large contingent of Cowboys fans want Pollard in Dallas for the next two or three years, the player seems fine playing out the season making $10.1 million guaranteed and it's important to remember he's coming off tight-rope ankle surgery and a fractured fibula suffered in the playoffs.
