Every time aikman announces for one of our games, I laugh uncontrollably.

The man hates Dallas so much, yet he was our guy in the 90’s.

I mean seriously, every time Dallas got a first down or made a good play I would hear, “that was nice, but…” or “and you see here, I mean it was a great throw but the timing was awful”

Kind of a laughing stock if you ask me. Stephen A Smith likes us more than Aikman! I understand him being less than happy about how it all ended with Johnson, and their downfall etc, but come on.

What do you think his issue is?

I think the issue is you honestly.

I think you are just showing your own inability to be objective. Troy is cowboy royalty and is recognized as one of the best announcers in the business. He knows more football than any of us. That’s why he’s doing MNF and you and I sit on the couch and listen.

Troy Aikman isn’t paid to cheerlead for the Cowboys during broadcasts. He’s paid to be objective, and that’s exactly what he is when he covers games, he gives honest opinions regardless if it’s the Cowboys. Cowboys fans always accuse him of hating the Cowboys because he’s objective. Lol He’s always been very opinionated even when he played for the team. Listen to some of his soundbites when he was angry, cursing some of his teammates, and criticizing his HC who wasn’t Jimmy Johnson at the time.

Stop. This is like a 14 year old fan boy way of thinking. Troy is a professional announcer who takes his job seriously...understands football...and gives his unbiased opinion of what he sees.

He's not there to be a cheerleader.

I think the guy is a professional announcer who takes his emotions out of the game when he is in the booth. Just because he isn't a Michael Irvin type doesn't mean he does or doesn't still love the Cowboys. Honestly, I think he calls a pretty good game, and there was plenty last night worthing calling the Cowboys out on.
If so I think he is weak. His very first statement after EVERYTHING Joe Buck says is "Well, you're right . . . ." Never, "I don't see it that way." Or, "There might be another way to look at it."

Troy calls a good game. He is just as frustrated as every other fan of the Cowboys are in our play

I think Aikman feels Jerry’s just a buffoon.

He loves Dallas but is disgusted like the rest of us that JJ insists on making the football decisions and the results speak for themselves. It never had to be a 28 year draught except for JJ massive ego and massive desire to be accepted as a “football guy”. If Aikman didn’t care about Dallas then he wouldn’t be so passionate about the subject.

Folks won't want to hear this, but Joe Buck is a tremendous play-by-play guy.

His call on the long Pollard catch and run was perfect.

I still remember how much Aikman loved Clinton Portis whenever he played against Dallas. Aikman even said he would've loved to play with Portis during a game. Lol

More money in bashing dallas than praising them. Not saying that’s troys issue but it’s big business everywhere else.

I feel like the things he says like that are pretty much 100% what I am thinking too. Want the team to succeed, but what we are seeing is painful to watch. Especially the offense.

That's what I'm hearing in his words and the way he says them.

Aikman has a word-crush on the word “clearly”. Otherwise I think he does a great job.
